@andrewarthurdawson I’m not sure these are the right steps. Anyway, that’s what I did and worked for me:

1. if you have access to ftp (with a program like Filezilla), erase the folder called “jetpack” under wp-content >> plugins
2. download 4.2 zip file from here: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/developers/
3. login to your wordpress site
4. install the zip file you’ve downloaded

That’s it. I suggest you to backup all your site BEFORE, so that if you still have problems you can reload the previous version of your site.

@andrewarthurdawson Yes, I’m still using 4.2 version, I want to wait for a clear answer from the developers before upgrading the plugin again.
I had exactly this problem, scheduled posts went regularly online, but without any notification on social media (Facebook, Twitter and G+).

@ryancowles I perfectly know that installing an older version of a plugin may cause problems. I needed a fastest way to make my posts being publicized on social networks meanwhile you were on vacation! ??

I checked conflicts with other plugins and none of them are in the list. I have to agree with @andrewarthurdawson: could be possible that there a problem with the 4.3 version of your plugin?

@andrewarthurdawson I did not deactivate the plugin, I just erased the entire folder and then install it again. I have many plugins in my blog, I don’t know if there is a conflict issue for the newer version of Jetpack.

Anyway I use it for posting scheduled articles and sharing on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ and now it works.

It looks like nothing has changed, settings of the previous version appeared automatically.

@thebandarblog go there: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/jetpack/developers/ and download 4.2 version. Then, on your blog control panel, disinstall Jetpack (or you can just erase all the files in the jetpack plugin folder using a ftp software like Filezilla), reinstall the zip 4.2 folder as usual. Remember to avoid upgrades in the next days.

@andrewarthurdawson I have this problem only with scheduled post too. I wanted to reinstall 4.2 but I can’t find it.

EDIT: 4.2 works!

I create the table, it doesn’t give me error anymore.
I just can’t post now. What should I do?

I mean, the restore worked, still the same problem on posting.

I subscribed for a weekly and daily backup. I tried to restore it right now, but it didn’t work.
I changed provider 2 weeks ago, I don’t have an older db backup.

I think I recreate correctly the table in MySql, the db it’s not given any error anymore, but I still have the same problem with the posts or pages. I can’t even add any other user to try with another administrator account.
