I got “It seems impossible to switch to PASV mode” from the Backup Scheduler test

Filezilla worked fine connecting using FTP over TLS. Firewall has both command port and passive ports forwarded to the NAS with matching FTPD configuration.

How about explicit FTP over TLS? using PASV transfer mode?

Thanks Dylan. I did some research and I only got to the point showing the custom map icon. But I can’t make each posting has their own icon on the global map.

That’s a good idea. Would it be easier to modify the Thinkbox and Lightbox instead to show which page the reader is on?

Superb!!! Great job!! It worked like a charm for lightbox!! What I did was following sweigold’s 3 steps plus alex’s instruction to make step 3 into the theme’s folder. It loads all the pictures from all pages! ??

@sweigold, did you clear the browser cache first to make the mod work for lightbox? Just a thought.

One thing it is acting weird though, is that after the modification, although I have “Number of images per page” set to 20, each page will show 21 pictures. If I change the “Number of images per page” to 12, it will show 13 pictures each page. So I need to always set it to N-1 pictures to make it the number that I want. Need to fix something in the array?

On the other hand, when using PicLens without Cooliris installed, I can see the pixels/pigments of the photos in the slideshow. While the pictures themselves looked fine without using PicLens. Did PicLens stretch the pictures too big? or there’s a way to customize the size showing in PicLens?

I gave it a try Alan and what I got in the picturesurf box is:

“Unable to connect to Picturesurf.org. Gallery will not run.”

But let’s not talk about this in this thread. It’s really for NextGEN’s issue. Maybe I will open up another thread later if I need to give it another try. Thanks again!

V1.00 is compatible with WP 2.6.5? I thought it is only for WP 2.7. Please correct me if I am wrong.

By using the picturesurf plugin, which means I have to create an account and upload my pictures to a third party website? Which is probably not what I want to do in the first place.

You see it was configured to show only 20 pictures per page, and there are 25 pictures in total for this gallery. So the last 5 would go to the 2nd page.

So when a visitor click on the first picture, they will only be able to scroll through picture 1 to 20. Then they have to quit the viewing mode, click on second page and view the rest of the 5 pictures.

I am just wondering if it’s possible to make it so the page still show only 20 thumbnails. But when the visitor click on a picture they will be able to view the whole gallery of 25 pictures without the need to quit the viewing mode, click on the next page, and then view the rest of the pictures?

On a side note, I tried transferring the upgrade files to my webhosting company again using HTTP upload instead of using FileZilla, fixed my problems.
