    Thank you Katryn for replying. The only thing that fixed it for me was removing the theme completely and re-uploading the latest version. Maybe something got corrupted when I updated the theme a few days back…who knows? it now seems to work.

    After re-installation of wordpress, 2 attempts to re-upload my backup files, and creating a new database and user, it seems now that I am back on track… not thanks to Bluehost!

    ok so now I can see my database user name and password (I don’t remember ever setting those and wonder if they got tempered with while bluehost was re-uploading wp-config files at their end).
    The database username and password are different from the ones I use to log onto www.ads-software.com.
    I have tried changing the database username and password from within phpmyAdmin (in users table) to match my WordPress credentials but WordPress won’t let me login with those.

    I am having issues going into phpmyadmin inside bluehost control panel which does not bode well.
    I’ll contact bluehost again about that but really don’t know how to regain control of my website as soon as possible in the meantime.
