We’ve had the same thing on 4 of our sites this week. Never had this issue before and they’re on different servers so not a server issue.

iThemes is still reporting this as no fix available. They get their data from Patchstack which says no reply from vendor: https://patchstack.com/database/vulnerability/simple-share-buttons-adder/wordpress-simple-share-buttons-adder-plugin-8-4-6-cross-site-request-forgery-csrf?_a_id=431

Are you able to resolve this with Patchstack/iThemes so it no longer flags as being vulnerable?

Thank you. I had read that article but was confused about how to do the redirect to. My limited understanding could only find the regex destination examples. I’ll have another read!

Thank you so much for the looking into it and for the update. The error emails seem to have stopped for the time being but good to know that a fix will be implemented soon.

Thanks for your response. The error message question was just the question I needed as it led me to find the answer! Annoyed with myself that i hadn’t check there before though!

It was giving the following:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 414 ()

This pointed me to the solution in another forum where someone found the iThemes security system tweaks settings were causing the issue. Issue solved!
