In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] No emails recieved (WP Mail STMP installed)Victoregmont, first thanks for trying the plugin. Unfortunately it is no longer actively developed. Changes to Facebook have removed the need for a plugin like this.
With that said, since the SMTP plugin test sends ok, the issue is probably in the JavaScript and or the Facebook API. I know the API had undergone major updates since this plugin was created.
Sorry to not have better news for you. Good luck with a solution.

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Does what we need it to doCan you share the URL of the site where you made this tweak? I think I file your comments but I wanted to make sure. I can include that in an update and give you credit on the patch.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Show only on postsIf you disable comments on the page or pages, then the plugin won’t add Facebook comments box to the page.
Brent, There are no known issues for the plugin. With that said we are not actively developing the plugin. You may look into using an SMTP mail authentication plugin. That has been a solid answer for most mail issues when they are risen in the past.
Thanks!

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Does not work on Firefox and IEcmagnet, it looks like your comments are locked down to WP logged in users only.

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Have I got the right plug inI don’t know of any other plugins that do specifically what you are asking. We no longer actively develop on this plugin because we have moved our comments over to using Disqus on WordPress. It will sync comments for locally storage on WP and allow for users to login and share on social if they desire. It isn’t automatic, but a very easy to use platform and simple plugin for WP to get it all working.

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Have I got the right plug inThis plugin does not use your WordPress comments at all. It only utilizes the Facebook comments widget and places it on your website in place of your WordPress comments. There is no sync or connectivity between comments made on the two platforms.

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Lost all my commentsIt means you can’t use that one. Why are you trying to shorten then on your site?

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Lost all my commentsSounds like a likely culprit. Yes you can get them back. Turn off the shortener and get the URLs back to their original length. That comments will map to the absolute URL they were placed.

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Lost all my commentsDid you change your website URL? Facebook associates comments to absolute URL values. Changing to https or on www would be an example that could cause this.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] XML Sitemap – Google Webmaster errorsI am seeing the same issue. I am excluding all taxonomies from the XML sitemap configuration. Using version 1.5.2.7. Not sure why it’s including the empty xml file.

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] Intermittent or no email notificationsChuck, I haven’t tested this on 3.8.1. Possibly a upgrade issue, jquery conflict, or php mail issue. Will hopefully get to test this out soon. Were you seeing any JavaScript errors when the plugin was turned on?

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] not receiving notificationsWhen mail has issues sending is it usually the result of the lack of SMTP authentication on the wp_mail(). The plugin uses wp_mail() to send the email notifications. Is there any reasoning on who is getting the email? Like only the first email in the comma separated list?
Thanks.

In reply to: [Facebook Comments Notifier] No notification to GmailIt does work with gmail. You may be having issue in sending mail from WordPress in general. I would suggest looking in to an SMTP authentication plugin like : https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/wp-mail-smtp/
