When I use regular product adjustment within Woo Discount Rules, it looks good now, thanks! ??

However it doesn’t work for Bulk Discount for me. For example, I have a “Buy 1 for 69 or 2 for 100” kind of deal. When one is added to basket, the “SALE” label does happen from Woo Labels but it writes -100% which is inaccurate.

For the “Buy X and get discount on Y” type of product, the sale label never happens when X is added to basket; but this isn’t too critical as the Discount Rules plugin already adds in the description that there’s going to be a discount.

@mvmc might be able to elaborate on their experience too.

The products are created through an import from our POS system, which is a plugin I unfortunately have no access to. (It isn’t a public plugin, but one installed by the developers of the POS). However, aside from importing colors, sizes and prices, that plugin leaves the products as drafts otherwise unchanged/any unknown fields to the plugin are left as default or empty values, I presume.

Do you know if “sync and show” is the default value/’empty’ value for your plugin, or is it set when creating products normally?

I’m marking this as resolved, as I enabled the plugin causing errors (no updates have happened to it though) and I am not receiving that message anymore.

Thanks for your support. I have no idea why any of it happened, and am very confused if it seemed to think I was using an older version of WooCommerce.. but since it works right now, I’ll just move on and keep an eye out if anything happens again.

I am running WooCommerce version 4.7 and have since it was released. My site didn’t exist when WooCommerce ran 2.1 (which was in 2014, by looking at their logs. My site is from this year).

So I’m a little confused what suggests it’s running such an old version?

“Woo Discount Rules” is called version 2.3.2, and that’s the plugin throwing me errors.

It seems it’s also reflected in my product list (in which case, it must not be the plugin’s fault, but maybe WooCommerce’s..?)

Products that only have one variant display with a price here, even if out of stock.
Products with multiple variants display without a price.

Oddly, products in stock display with price regardless if they’re variants or not, even if there’s different price ranges.

The moment I add stock to any of the products that are listed without a price, the price displays (both here and in Wishlist). When I remove stock again, price disappears.

Very odd… ??

Is this the same for you on your end/your local installations?

Is the plugin safe to use then?

I don’t understand the errors it was giving me, so I am worried if it is able to access my site in an undesired way.

So here’s something interesting to add!

I just added another product that’s out of stock to my wishlist; and this product displays its price.

The difference between this product, and the other two on my list right now, is that this product doesn’t have variants.

I sent the report – though I haven’t enabled that plugin since, and it’s been a week. Should I have enabled the plugin when I sent the report?

If anyone else is having the same problem, I just wanted to update this thread by saying I never did find a solution and I am now running a different theme that supports Yoast.
