I ran into this same problem. I went ahead and uploaded wp-content directory, refreshed and viola, insta-blog.

I won’t go into the “host war” and which is better and all that. I will say though, that I was once hosted by 1and1 and did NOT have an easy time of it in regards to various scripts, including wordpress.

Well let me rephrase that, on the 1.2 I called an image, but since upgrading the option is really no longer feasible since themes usually aren’t including it in the new index.php’s that are coming out.

I just found an image and called it instead. It looked a lot more professional and took little effort on my part.

Just a head’s up andymatic, if you would remove those oversize pics from some of your posts your blog will straighten back out.

You should be linking to a rotate.php file, not an actual image.

I believe in Matt’s version you have to edit the php file and enter the location of the pics you want rotated.

I have one that just rotates whatever images happen to be in the same folder as the file.

Hey thanks tomhanna, never thought of that. I’ve settled on a uber-cool thoughtmechanics template though but am still working on making kubrick a three column as well. (I suppose that would actually be a factual statement if I were actively working on it instead of taking advantage of Blockbuster’s no late fee’s.)

It’s been doing that to me since well before the first of the year, and I’m working on a nightly from Jan. 8th now.

Usually the only way I can get my changes to be visible (on my machine) is to go into an existing post then save it again.

I posted about this sometime ago but I don’t think I was clear enough in my explanation.

So you just adapted the nosebleed template for phpbb to fit in when the benevolence theme? Great idea!

Someone explained this to me once, but I can’t remember all of the details. Mostly had something to do with a spam being generated for the post id before the post is actually created. Something like that.

It sorta feels like that compression feeling you get when you shut the car doors with the windows rolled up.

And that code is for TTLB’s ecosystem but it wasn’t supposed to be visible outside of the header. Figures.

Well I decided to go with a couple of Kitten’s plugins (assuming everyone was breathlessly awaiting to hear what I decided to do) and so far so good.
