In reply to: Incompatibility of WP with europes biggest hoster?I won’t go into the “host war” and which is better and all that. I will say though, that I was once hosted by 1and1 and did NOT have an easy time of it in regards to various scripts, including wordpress.

In reply to: Editing <!–more–> TagWell let me rephrase that, on the 1.2 I called an image, but since upgrading the option is really no longer feasible since themes usually aren’t including it in the new index.php’s that are coming out.

In reply to: Image Rotator? You should be linking to a rotate.php file, not an actual image.
I believe in Matt’s version you have to edit the php file and enter the location of the pics you want rotated.
I have one that just rotates whatever images happen to be in the same folder as the file.

In reply to: Problem editting themeIt’s been doing that to me since well before the first of the year, and I’m working on a nightly from Jan. 8th now.
Usually the only way I can get my changes to be visible (on my machine) is to go into an existing post then save it again.
I posted about this sometime ago but I don’t think I was clear enough in my explanation.

Edit:Would you like to share your modified theme with me since I’m using benevolence as a default on my site and also have a phpbb board running?

In reply to: Comment Spam – With Comments turned off…?Someone explained this to me once, but I can’t remember all of the details. Mostly had something to do with a spam being generated for the post id before the post is actually created. Something like that.

In reply to: Evangelical UndergroundIt sorta feels like that compression feeling you get when you shut the car doors with the windows rolled up.
And that code is for TTLB’s ecosystem but it wasn’t supposed to be visible outside of the header. Figures.

In reply to: Consolidating the three WordPress comment files?Well I decided to go with a couple of Kitten’s plugins (assuming everyone was breathlessly awaiting to hear what I decided to do) and so far so good.
