Can you post the short codes you used? I will try to recreate the issue.

I’m having the same issue, but on a localhost using XAMPP on Windows XP. As far as I know there’s no way to change folder permissions in this setup.

I am able to use the built in wordpress image upload feature, but not the comicpress comic manager plugin to upload, and they both deposit images in the same folder.

any ideas?

I’m having this same problem at photos.erellsworth.com The problem only seems to happen with the subdomain. I also have WordPress installed on my root directory, but that doesn’t seem to have any problem.

I didn’t see anything in the other thread that really addressed THIS issue. If anyone knows what might be causing it, I’d love to know.
