I now rely on the my courses page as suggested. I am already using the course list block on the front page of my site.

But the tags on the course grid (which I love) still lead users to a course archive page which looks unfortunately not fancy at all.

I will stick to Sensei, hoping that the course archive page will somehow be made fancier in future updates. The other LMS plugins are either bloated with a lot of code or fail to match Sensei in terms of features.

The course archive page would not bother me at all if I were to offer my courses to my students only, but commercially speaking, ugly pages are a big turn off ??

Because my site is hosted on wordpress.com, someone from the team found a temporary solution for the problem. If the blog posts are set to display a full summary instead of an excerpt, course categories display whatever is necessary.

But, the page output still looks awful. Courses are stacked to the very left of the page, covering one third of the width, with the entire mid and right section remaining totally blank.

The thing is the bug was reported a long time ago on Github, with no solution ever since. Like who cares?

All this happens on a WordPress theme featured in the website of Sensei LMS, along with some others: twenty twenty.

I am trying all I can, with my very limited understanding of web hosting, to keep using Sensei, but it disappoints me a bit not to be able to use a beautiful plugin in a most basic way without having to run after developers.

So, there it is. I have answered my own question. Who cares, right?
