In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Unable To Set Up JetpackHi @lljb3, the site URL should be detected properly for new sites.
In the case of bovember.com, it appears the site was already registered with a different site URL, but then got updated to a new site URL, when that happened, you should have gotten a notice to update the site URL, if you’re not opting to update it, then we’d have to manually change it.
how to create a list of sites for the Blogroll widget, my brief experiments suggest it will only link to the blog at its top level, and not articles
Hi @dfl1955, the way you’re doing it sounds correct, and the Blogroll block will effectively only display top level info of the blogs.
Here’s more info on using the Blogroll block: https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/blogroll-block/If you want to show articles from recommended blogs, then you might be best served with the RSS block which is a default in the WordPress editor. You’d need to add one RSS block for each blog. Can you try and see if it’s closer to what you’re looking for?

In reply to: [Jetpack Boost - Website Speed, Performance and Critical CSS] problema pluginHi @hellsbrigade, thanks for the update.
I no longer see Boost on the site, if you’d like to give it another try, could you help us gather more info about the issue by checking for the JavaScript errors (see guide)?

In reply to: [Jetpack Boost - Website Speed, Performance and Critical CSS] problema pluginHI @hellsbrigade, sorry to hear you had trouble the plugin blocking Elementor when editing pages; and thanks for the screenshot!
I tried to reproduce the issue on my test site with Boost, Elementor, and the OceanWP theme installed, but the problem didn’t appear.
This leads me to suspect that you encountered a plugin and/or theme conflict. To troubleshoot that, try temporarily deactivating all your plugins and check if the problem is resolved that way. If it works, then reactivate each plugin one-by-one to find out which one is causing problems.
To avoid an interruption on the live site, you can troubleshoot by using the plugin Health Check, here’s a guide at https://wordpress.com/support/plugins/solve-problems-with-plugins/#health-check-amp-troubleshooting-plugin

In reply to: [Jetpack - WP Security, Backup, Speed, & Growth] Unable To Set Up JetpackHi @lljb3, thanks for linking to the other thread.
I’ve updated the Site URL on our end to reflect your site setting. Could you disconnect then reconnect Jetpack? Let us know if you still need help.
Hi @honeytrek, there’s no ETA for when it’ll be fixed, but you can follow progress at https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/34729
I checked the bottom of the homepage and see what you mean, the images are missing and some text is scrunched. This appears to be a separate issue, I suspect a conflict with the theme or some plugins.
To troubleshoot that, try temporarily deactivating all your plugins and check if the problem is resolved that way. If it works, then reactivate each plugin one-by-one to find out which one is causing problems.
To avoid an interruption on the live site, you can troubleshoot by using the plugin Health Check, see guide. While checking the source code, I also notice some image lazy load option applied, you can test turning it off, this option may be in the theme or other plugins.

If you are using a block theme, you can preview and customize the pop-up in the templates editor. You can access this feature via the
Preview and edit the pop-up
link located beneath theEnable subscriber pop-up
toggle.Based on what I gather, your site uses the Yuki theme which has support for blocks in the editor, but it’s not a full-fledge Full-Site Editing (FSE) theme where you can use blocks to edit the overall site display.
So if you’re not seeing the link “Preview and edit the pop-up”, you might want to consider switching to a FSE/Block theme, otherwise, I’m sorry to say that the option won’t be available.
You can find some FSE/Block theme from the www.ads-software.com directory: https://www.ads-software.com/themes/tags/full-site-editing/I hope this helps!
Glad to hear you’ve sorted this out @nerdynel17, and thanks for sharing your findings so it benefits others!
Hi @xplormarketing, Jetpack uses a function called
wp_footer()
to insert elements like a Stats tracking code to your site’s footer. This function has to be added to your theme’sfooter.php
file right before the closingbody
tag. You can read more about this function in the WordPress documentation.?
If you’ve recently edited that file, please make sure thewp_footer()
function is still there. If it is there, check for any other code you may have added to your theme (like in your sidebar, for example) that may break everything that comes after. Also, I see that Crazy Egg is used on the site to add a tracking script. Could you try disabling it to test if it’s conflicting with the Jetpack Stats?
