I am having the same problem with custom fields disappearing in the snapshots woothemes theme. I have tried the steps above and they do not seem to fix the problem

I am on a shared hosting environment (MediaTemple) and getting this 404 export error too. My host has claimed it is NOT an apache memory error as this would cause problems for everyone on the hosting.

One specific installation of WP for me will not export the XML but others in my account will.

Anyone know how to export an XML of a WP installation when it simply goes to a 404 page EVERY time?
