@songdogtech Thanks. I’ve seen those instructions before. I just want to make sure I understand the process thoroughly before making the change. I had a recent experience with a URL change that caused me a lot of trouble and I just want to avoid that again.

Thanks! That helped a lot with getting rid of the spaces. Adding height to the .meteor-slides .meteor-caption section did not help me with my problem though. My problem is not that the excerpt won’t fit inside of the caption, but that the excerpt creates an overlapping sentence instead of the sentence continuing onto the next line. I’ll play around with Firebug to see what I can find.

Thanks! That helped a lot! I figured out how to style the placeholder text through a Google search. You use the selector ::-webkit-input-placeholder and :-moz-placeholder to do that. Thanks again.

Thanks for the help! That helped a lot. I’m still struggling with trying to crop the excerpt. Also, is there a way for me to remove the line space after the title? I can’t find a CSS code that will do that for me.

Thanks! That tidbit of info helped me in figuring out how to change some of the colors for the navigation buttons. I’m struggling with changing the color of the search form though, and how can I add a Home button?

I decided to uninstall and then reinstall the Esplanade theme again. This seems to have fixed the problem, and now I am able to upload a header image with no problem.

The slideshow now works fine and looks great on the phone, which is a Droid Razr Maxx. I was able to fix it after messing with a cache plugin.

Update:

I’m still unable to log in. I’ve also attempted deleteing my cookies, disabling plugins through FTP, and logging in through a different computer with no success.
