Only other thing I can think of is if you log into your wordpress backend and then go to appearance and customize, look at the static front page section. Do you have it set for “your latest posts” or “a static page”?

Do you use a parent theme? If you say yes then do you have an index.php file in your parent folder?

First off it should be really easy to fix the background color issue. Try adding an !important tag after your background css tag.

As of removing the quotation marks, you may want to try a display:none for that.

well if that can’t be done then is it possible to have “Members” (anyone can sign up and get verified) and they can post links that then go into a database that has to be approved?

Thanks guys, so basically I could have 5 pages (about, currently playing/on stage, 2009-10 season and contact us) then when the user clicks on the currently playing page it will display the show that is on stage right now but when the click on the season page it shows the entire season?

Does anyone know of examples like this already done in WP? Any really good tutorials out there?
