So I think I solved the “plugin breaks WordPress issue” had to do with my SFTP settings. I went in an manually overwrote with more lax settings (777) and that seemed to fix the admin.
I have configured my plugin but now on the add media screen under the Brightcove tab I just see a progress bar and its been sitting that way for 10 minutes. I tried closing out and trying again with the same results.
We have a lot of video on our account ~500 video and I wonder if its trying to load all of them?

I just installed this plugin today and when enabled I get an message that I have “insufficient privileges to access this page”. I cannot enter the admin at any location and I have to forcefully remove the plugin from the FTP before I can access the admin again.
I have a wordpress multi-site install and we are a Brightcove partner vendor.
