Well well well…
There’s been an update to this situation.
I don’t believe it is a theme issue so much now.
I was going through the files in my ftp and renaming files/ folders one at a time or in their respective groups at a time to turn them off temporarily and when I got to the index.php file inside my /wordpress directory, something happened;

The problem has been- when you click on my link no pictures show up until you clicked on my logo. But NOW with the index.php file turned off (renamed to ‘noindex.php’) when you click my logo it comes up with a ‘comming soon’ error page!

SO my conclusion is the problem must be in this index.php file. funny because thats where my friend said to look! whatdya know?

Now if i can figure out what the heck to do with this file?

ok, well do you support any themes? i guess ill be shopping for a new one… would really like one that will have support a few months from now. the theme i bought had support from themeforest when i bought it a couple months ago and now poof no support, so i dont know who to trust.

themeforest sent me to the author who never responded. can no one help me here?

here is what a friend of mine told me-

“with most constructed sites, the homepage is named “index”. It’ll be a file renaming issue, I know that much”

if anyone can help me figure this out it would be insanely appreciated… :/

yea they’re not getting back to me. Where do I turn now if I can’t get help here?

I just emailed them.. They don’t have support for the theme I purchased anymore though so I’m not really holding my breath… Guess I could look for a new theme ??

Really don’t want to change themes, surely there is an easy fix for this?

i deactivated all plugins via ftp as well as wp-admin page. i only am running one plugin though. but yeah that didn’t fix it.

switched themes, the twenty eleven theme loaded just fine.

so now what? could it be how i have things organize in my ftp?

its as if my logo is sending the user to another link that needs to just be the home page.

seriously? all that talk and no answer? why did you bother?

I’m not worried about them getting stolen, had you looked you would have seen they are not that big of size anyways and I do have watermarks..

As it is, imo its very tacky when you right click on the flash image and there is a direct link to the products provider. I would think to higher clients that would look very ugly and if anything deter rather than attract at all. Disabling right click is a very clean, professional way of dealing with several problems at once here.

so all personal reasons and otherwise wasteful-in-all-ways kind of chit chat, how do I go about doing the above? (that this here forum is actually for)

I’m wondering if using Beauty Pirates code somewhere in the plugin files or the settings.xml file that its using? i shall try that tonight if no better responses come up.

also about it occasionally going away and giving the user the option to ‘prevent this page from preventing additional dialogs’, could this be a part of Beauty Pirates code? Or something somewhere else?…

also sometimes when you right click there is a box to ‘prevent this page from preventing additional dialogs’ and if you check that box, then the right click feature is eneable again allowing you to view the image in another window. i dont want people to have the option, so 1. how do i remove that option. 2. why does that option not come up all the time?

hmmm it still doesnt work on one of my plugins- in my ‘Before and After’ page I am using a flash plugin. when you right click on the flash image it still functions and my message doesnt pop up instead. Do I just create a new head in this page? or where do I insert that code for this page to do the same thing?
