Actually it does. When you add “iPad” to the custom user-agents field it displays in the WP Touch theme. At least it does on my site and iPad.

Oops found the answer myself. I was looking at a link that I already visited, hence the grey color. I changed the a:visited color in CSS and now it works just fine.

I have disabled my theme and went back to the original unmodified twenty eleven theme. I also disabled all plugins except WPtouch and cleared browser cache.

But still have the same result. The font on the front page (with the post excerpts) and that of pages is smaller than that of a single post.

Here are three pictures after all the above actions taken on my iPhone:

Frontpage with small font
Post clickthrough with larger font
Single page with small font again

My test blog is at FlyingSquirrel.nl

I have checked another blog that uses WPtouch and this has the same results.

Any ideas?

When I check C4 it does work. That is the actual setting now so you can see for yourself. On my computer you can actually see it rendering the LH side first and after that the rest of the borders and the name. This is in Chrome, Safari and FF. In IE it renders all borders and after that the name caption.
With this setting it even works in IE8!

When I check C5 it just works with the pictures that have a description.

With C6 it does not work as I have rating turned off

…. wouldn’t be nice if all browsers acted the same ….

Thanks for the quick reply. I have disabled ajax now and the backbutton now works as expected.

I have just enabled popups again so you can see what I mean.

Chrome shows this with just a LH border, IE shows it fine. I have tried it on two different computers with the same result.
The popups on your website work just fine…

Another update…

I had a friend test it on a iPad2…. Same result. Very strange!
I have hundreds of pictures on my blog, all taken with the same camera an uploaded from the same macbook. And only a few have this behaviour. And ONLY on iPad.

Any ideas????

I did some more testing.

When I save the first picture on my iPad it actually ends up rotated in my pictures. The second one does not.

When I save the same pictures on my laptop they BOTH end up landscape as they should.

I also deleted one wrong picture form the album and uploaded it again from my laptop with the same result, it still shows up rotated!

Weird!!
