I like the simplicity, but for word or excel i don’t see how to save as an image….a web page yes, but image no. really need to figure out a way to show a chart in my blog.

yep, that was it. my admin person needed to “bump” me up to admin level.

That does not show up.
My options are: dashboard, write, manage, comments, blog roll and options. there is no “users” option as a sub under any of these. and yes, i’m guessing i’m missing the boat here, cause i DO remember doing this in the past.

FYI, we have finally determined that it is because of Internet Explorer that we have the pic problem. NO problem with MAC or Firefox etc. It is an IE problem. Our tech guy is flummoxed.

well i guess that answers it…that must go from thumbnail to a larger image. i was hoping i could embed a large image in the blog…not just the thumbnail. so assuming this is the case, a larger image without leaving the blog is most desirable.

also, i was just in the “write” area and after i upload the image, i do not have the option to “link to a larger image”? when i click the pic i have these options: not linked, linked to page, linked to image. honestly, i am not sure what to do at this point…to get it to link to anything.

Is the only way to make a jpeg larger than a thumbnail via a plugin?

Thanks for the information. I tried to use a web page for the info (e.g. save excel sheet as web page) but it created some sort of bug with internet explorer. Every time I clicked the link, I got kicked out of internet explorer. So I ended up using a pdf file. NOT my first choice as I very much prefer to have the information available right in the blog post.

I am guessing 1.5.2 — which is listed under the Word Press logo on my write page…our web designer hooked us up with wordpress… as the blog host which is incorporated into our site. Clearly i need help! ??

There is no upload function under the main writing space?? under the writing space are: post status, post slugs, trackbacks, Edit time etc…nothing with word “upload” what am i missing?
