In reply to: [Redirection] Change slug and search and replace? Thanks John. I am completely new to the plugin and not sure what you mean by regular expression vs. plain expression. Should I use the Search Regex for redirection or use Redirection with Search Regex? Sorry if I sound slow, but like I said, I only just started using the redirection plugin a few days ago. It’s hard to find a good article that explains things well and I don’t want to break anything due to not understanding basic concepts.
@adamdunnage That appears to have fixed the issue. Thanks very much!

I posted this almost 7 months ago. I’ve already moved on to another recipe plugin solution that I’m much, much happier with. Thanks.

In reply to: [Simple Social Icons] Update 2.0 Ruined PluginSame issue on my site. https://olivesfordinner.com/ (scroll to bottom)
I don’t have any caching plugins. It looks terrible on Chrome, but fine on Firefox.
I always create a backup before updating plugins, but didn’t this time and am regretting it. I hope this can be resolved because I liked the simplicity/appearance of the plugin before this update.

In reply to: Feedburner – Blank line before XML declarationThanks James, but I do not see that as an option? ??
My hosting company allows me to create backups with one click, so I’d feel comfortable with doing this, if only I could find that “re-install now” option!

In reply to: Feedburner – Blank line before XML declarationJames,
Thanks for the quick reply. I appreciate the walkthrough of a fix, but this unfortunately is still way over my technical ability to perform. However, I’ll put this aside to revisit again in the future.
Obnoxious as it is, feedburner not delivering new emails is something I’ll have to live with, as I have no business purpose for paying for a service (MailChimp, Feedblitz) that I’ve been getting for free without issue for the past 5+ years (on blogger).
Thanks again for your response, James, it is helpful and I’ll keep it handy for when I am more familiar with WordPress and feel like I can attempt to do it safely.

In reply to: [Genesis eNews Extended] Feedburner – this feed does not validateSo I went ahead and deactivated all of my plugins. I then refreshed my rss feed and it didn’t change anything. So I just reactivated all of my plugins.
Any other suggestions on how to validate my feedburner feed?

In reply to: [Genesis eNews Extended] Feedburner – this feed does not validateBrandon,
Many thanks for your reply and insight. I only have about 8 plugins installed, so that shouldn’t be too hard.
One question (and I’m really new to WordPress, so it may be a dumb one) but won’t deactivating all of my plugins break my site? I know I can just turn them back on, but is there a chance that doing so can break my whole site? i.e. will they still work the same as before?
Like I said, I only have 8 of them, and all are pretty critical to my site.
Thanks again for your help. I am really lost!
