In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Terrible supportPlease reread our support thread. The last thing you did was offer a “custom plugin” that did not work. So how could you have told me “many times” that it would not work?
I’m not sure why you’re lashing out at me and bringing links of the staging and live site into discussion. I am a WordPress developer but I have developed themes, so I was looking for your support to help me with a problem I had with your plugin.
Instead, you insisted it did not exist, even though I was seeing it with my own eyes.
Bye!

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Terrible supportI installed your “custom plugin” which was two lines of javascript and it made none of your plugin work. It refreshed the page, as you said it would, and that was definitely not the desired effect.
We are obviously wasting each others time. The solution is to have the event.preventDefault come after the javascript that you in your plugin. Currently you call it before it any event.

In reply to: [Ivory Search - WordPress Search Plugin] Terrible supportI’m sorry you got your first negative review, but you did not handle yourself very well in support or in this reply either.
The # in the link to click the search button IS causing a jump to the top of the page.
We of course are using your plugin a day later. There are many things I am forced to use that I am unhappy with.
I checked for theme and plugin conflicts and I know how to do this very well, as it is the basis of any support ticket: “Have you turned it off and on again?”
You have a fantastic day as well!

In reply to: Blog page and static front page the sameHi Drew,
Thanks for the prompt response. I have indeed checked to make sure they are set to different templates. “Blog” is lined up with “blog” and “Home” is lined up with “home”. Not exactly sure what is going on…
