Anirudh… I wish I could help you, but I couldn’t find a solution and just had to move forward without an app.
Thanks,
I am getting a Fatal Error when I try to activate the plugin. Which version of PHP are you using. I have run into some issues like this when 5.3 is being used. I running the latest version of 5.2.
Thanks!

In reply to: [QuizMe] Fatal Error.I have tried it on a Mac and a PC and neither are working. If it is case sensitive, I just followed the naming convention that you used to name your files, so I am not sure how that could mess things up.
In the meantime I have installed the old version (2.5.28) and that is working just fine. Thanks.

In reply to: [QuizMe] Fatal Error.I deleted all of the files in the plugin folder named “quizme” from the previous version. Then I uploaded all of the folders in the new “quizme” folder in the zip file that I downloaded for version 2.5.33.
It is still saying fatal error when I try to activate the plugin from the plugin screen. What else could be causing this plugin to cause a fatal error?
I also tried deleting it again and re-installing it through the wordpress site and that didn’t work either. I don’t know what else to try.

In reply to: [QuizMe] Fatal Error.DCoda, I activated it through the wordpress interface. I can go ahead and delete the files and re-install manually, but I don’t want to lose all of my quizzes from before. Where are those quizzes stored and will I lose them by manually reinstalling?
Thanks for the quick reply as usual!

In reply to: [QuizMe] [Plugin: QuizMe] SlownessI think it mostly was my theme that was causing the issue, but also I was using the s2member plugin and hiding the quizzes from non-paid members, but everything else was visible to them. This wasn’t much of an issue in the post itself, but the blog feeds that had summaries of the post caused this issue.
Again, I think it was mostly the one file (a dynamically generated CSS file) in my theme, which I deleted; combined with the hidden s2member posts, which I ended up just letting everything come through so there are no filters on the feed of latest posts. That filter was needing to run up to 10 times for the page to load and I think that may have been causing a strain as well.
Thanks!

In reply to: [QuizMe] [Plugin: QuizMe] SlownessDCoda,
I have some some additional research and the majority of the slowness was due to the interaction with my theme. If anyone is reading this, I would strongly recommend this plugin!

In reply to: [QuizMe] [Plugin: QuizMe] SlownessYeah, there is nothing really crazy about our questions and quizzes. Could the table that these are stored in be causing an issue? How are these stored in the DB?
Just trying to understand how the nuts and bolts are working.
Thanks!

In reply to: [QuizMe] [Plugin: QuizMe] SlownessDCoda,
The quizzes are generally only 1-4 questions and they are all multiple choice with a maximum of 4 answers to choose from.
Thanks,

In reply to: [QuizMe] [Plugin: QuizMe] SlownessSorry, I meant to say more quizzes, not videos. My fault!

In reply to: [QuizMe] [Plugin: QuizMe] SlownessThis started happening when we only had a couple dozen quizzes, but it seems to have gotten worse as we have added more videos. We don’t have a lot of money right now, but I am wondering what would it take for you to take a look at our specific issue?
