AND
by groups, I mean user created groups in which they can interact with one another, with ONLY people in their group, etc.

In reply to: User groups for wordpress?Thanks for the reply.
But I’m a bit confused- does this allow users to create their own groups, have the option to private and/or have forums inside of it too? Buddypress is honestly perfect, but it’s clunky in UI and I’m experiencing nasty bugs and compatibility issues.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Subscribe to RSS feeds of choiceThank you so much Jorge! I’ll definitely look into it.
I’m not good at programming, so I’m not sure if I’ll actually do it.I may just look into creating a static webpage with images from the articles themselves in a table/chart looking thing. (Think FlipBoard for iPad app). I’m sure that’s even harder to create though :/

In reply to: Subscribe to RSS feeds of choiceI’m actually talking about external RSS feeds, as in, content pulled from another news websites’ RSS feed.

In reply to: Author cannot access Admin PageIs there a way to disable/restart ALL of the capabilities without using a plugin? Is there a .php file I can edit?
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Author cannot access Admin PageEven if I deactivate capability manager, I’m still getting this error, by the way.

In reply to: [BuddyBar Widget] [Plugin: Buddybar Widget] "Notices" and "Friends" overlapMaybe it’s a problem with the “groups” area, because there is a giant space between the friends category and groups category. Is it possible groups is pushing friends up into the messages area?

In reply to: [BuddyBar Widget] [Plugin: Buddybar Widget] "Notices" and "Friends" overlapI’ve played around with my theme (custom community for buddypress)’s settings, but I can’t seem to fix it…One interesting thing is that when I use firebug and use the element select tool, the notify and friends fall under the same element (well that’s how it looks). Upon further investigation of the CSS via firebug, this may be the code interrupting it?
.aligncenter { display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; }
is the “display:block” the problem?

In reply to: [Grunion Contact Form] Save information typed in on contact formsJob Manager would work well if it was just me, but it’s not.
I am creating a network of “employers” and “workers” (it’s not actually a job website, but similar) and I want the “employers” to be able to create custom forms, just like they can in their posts for grunion.
Job Manager seems like it can only be put in posts that the admin wants to put it in, so that wouldn’t work.
