Updated plugin “CatalogX – Product Catalog Mode For WooCommerce” to 6.0.1 from 6.0.0

I thought it maybe useful for you to know in case other people have same issues – NOT sure on error code – someone tried to buy this morning and sent a note they were unable to purchase

i checked the site and there was NO add to basket button on a few randomly checked products

the only thing i had done on website – since a purchase last night , was do the update and I didnt (as i would normally) check the site again

as i say i may have installed a while back , not sure now why or what functionality i was after , but i do keep updated and have done a few times

the oldest info i have on that , when i started to keep history – was 19/06/24 Updated plugin “CatalogX – Product Catalog Mode For WooCommerce” to 5.0.8 from 5.0.7 and I would have kept updated

The setting page would not display and the add to basket missing

I was on 9.0.1 – but had the message yesterday – new update – and still there this morning , so i FTP copied website and when finished – looked at plugins and the update flag had just gone

I’ll try a screen shot if i see it next time

looked at log , i updated to 9.0.1 on 20/06/2024 22:18:37 BST

To be honest I have NOT been impressed with the forum and replies – Most have said either

a) its a conflict so deactive all plugs , load a different theme – which i am sure is a good suggestion – BUT in my case , i did not know that woocommerce does NOT provide a shipping address for a flat rate shipping zone, i found that out by a search on google – BUT only after disabling all the plugs – which cased issues . and when i searched google with different questions , I found from 5 years ago , that this was raised and its a function of woocmmerce – SO really someone should have known that and replyed – rather than rebuild the system for somehting that is happening correctly – and lack of my awareness / documentation

b) you need a developer , we dont offer code etc , again for something that was actually there and i did not see it

you could ague – well i should have known – BUT i do this all the time with people onthe excel forums and fix a simple issue – because they DID Not know how to do something or use something

Happy with your response and would give 5***** all day long , but only 1* base don my experience so far with the questions and answers

just my view , but thought i would share

On other forums I do a lot of contribution and has points – and was to give feedback on the actually forum for helpful posts and when solved ……

SO THANKYOU AGAIN

Turns out is is on the order email, someone else tested and took the time to screen shot and pointed it out – if there is an ORDER Note then its in the TABLE as NOTE – I was looking for it in the address infomation at the bottom of the order email note

That helps 100% , i was not looking at the Order info, i was looking at the address details below – Billing and shipping address

I do a lot of support in the excel forums and chatgpt often gets it wrong…..

This is a woocommerce issue and so its not really checking my coding , but how to get the Order Note out

seems woocommerce does NOT include the Order NOTE , on emails
