In reply to: [Download Monitor] Members Only downloads are not being restrictedThis is Slick! I did not even realize there were logs! This is great, thank you.
Okay so now in looking at these I see that the majority of them are coming from two IP addresses. A reverse IP lookup shows it’s using Verizon cell data. Nearly every single one says it’s coming from a “non-member.” And all downloads occurred over 1 day for one of them and 2 days for another. They are spaced just seconds apart. They are all reported as being from either an ipad or an iphone.
I would be happy to send over these logs if you are interested.
The good thing is that this is definitely no longer happening, they stopped just as abruptly as they started. So I am wondering if this could be a false positive, like somehow when a person was downloading/playing the file it was recording each ping from the device as it streamed, as a separate request?
What do you think?
Thanks!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Download Monitor] Members Only downloads are not being restrictedHi Barry thanks so much for your reply — Yep I tested this and I am [correctly] seeing the “Permission Denied” error message for our member-protected downloads. But it is telling me that the file has been downloaded 439 times, even though she has never had more than like 3 members in the entire history of the site. This is why it is confusing as to how they are still getting accessed. Could there be some kind of back door or something? Or could it be recording false positives?

In reply to: [List Custom Taxonomy Widget] Display as dropdown breaks url to termThis is exactly what I am experiencing too. Instead of going to https://domain.com/topic/discipleship it goes to https://domain.com/?topic=http%3A%2F%2Fdomain.com%2Ftopic%2Fdiscipleship%2F which yields a big fat 404.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Interest groupings greyed outNo I’m definitely using the pro version (since I started the thread here I will just keep it here, thanks tho!)
We have 1 list with 1 grouping (consisting of 3 choices) set up in MailChimp. See https://awesomescreenshot.com/00738qp913
But they do not appear in the drop down… https://awesomescreenshot.com/05b38qovbb
I haven’t used groups with this plugin before though, so maybe I’m doing something wrong?

In reply to: [User Role Editor] Admins unable to access wp-admin directlyNo that does not resolve it, still happens with all plugins disabled and twentyfourteen activated. HOWEVER, I just noticed that when all plugins are disabled, the dashboard link in admin disappears entirely! So I re-activated plugins one by one, and BBPress, when activated, makes dashboard link re-appear. When disabled, it disappears. So I’m willing to bet that plugin is the culprit. I will see if they have any suggestions for a fix.
Thanks for your time! ??
I am also having issues (and I’m on a mac). I have the CSV structured exactly as the example. It does not give me an error, though — it seems to think all is fine, but the confirmation message at the bottom of the screen after import is the first indication that things are not as they should be.
Instead of saying:
/source-url/ was added to redirect to “https://domain.com/destination-url/”it instead says:
/source-url/ “https://domain.com/destination-url/” was added to redirect toThis strange output is not the end of the world I guess, but then when I go to the resulting 301 list, I see that the source URL is filled in properly, but the destination url is empty.
Has anyone gotten this plugin to work? What did you do different?

In reply to: [User Switching] Big security flaw when used with bbpressAh yes that answers it. The user that was able to do this is a ‘director’ which is a custom role that we have set up, which does have the ability to edit users. Looks like we’ll need to change the way we do things or stop using this plugin. Good to know that at least it’s limited to Directors and that not all subscribers can do it!
Thanks so much for the prompt reply.Forum: Plugins

In reply to: [Gravity Forms Salesforce Add-on] Duplicate leads being created in SFNo I don’t think so — I only have this one SF plugin installed. On form submit, it redirects to a “thank you” page.
Or are you referring to something that is set in their SalesForce settings?
In fact we are experiencing this problem right now! We are using a custom-written form, we are switching to the gravity form in hopes of solving it. (your post makes me think the issue may persist!)
Did you ever find an answer?

In reply to: [Gravity Forms + Custom Post Types] Error: has no method 'curCSS'In case anyone else is having this issue, I just wanted to confirm that the above fix (uploading jqueryUI and changing line 152) solves this issue for me.
Thanks so much for this fix! You just saved me a ton of time.

In reply to: [MC4WP: Mailchimp for WordPress] Template integration ?Okay sorry never mind, I clicked around and discovered that I have to actually TELL the plugin to use the shortcode before the code above will work.
If anybody else runs into this, go to “Form Settings” and under “Use form functionality?” click “yes.”
