Hey @tonydjukic,
Great question! We’ve considered integrating WP Mail SMTPP with WPForms plugin. At the same time, we want to respect users’ autonomy of choice for the SMTP plugin they want to use on their site. We do include helpful links within the plugin and extensive documentation on our site so users are aware of the options to fix email delivery issues.
We certainly recognize the frustration over email delivery issues for WordPress users in general, which is why developing the WP Mail SMTP plugin as a standalone product allows us to help solve these issues for a wider group of users. We’re also constantly adding new integrations and features to WP Mail SMTP, and we even have a White Glove Setup for users who need more help with setting up the plugin.
I do apologize that our plugin seems to be an outlier on your site. This is certainly odd as we’ve received positive feedback that it has worked well on others.
If you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, could you please create a post in our WPForms Lite support forum with screenshots of your form notification settings? That way we can take a closer look.
Thanks!
Hey @mrinalkanti99,
Thank you for your kind comments and feedback! We are really glad to know that you found the plugin was user-friendly and easy to use ??
I appreciate your suggestion for the File Upload field to be included in the free feature.
It is our goal to provide good value and a great user experience to our customers and their users. That’s why we’ve worked hard on the design and development of the File Upload field to include many advanced features.
For instance, you can allow users to upload multiple files to the form quickly using the File Upload field. It gives you control over the number of files, types, and size of the files that can be uploaded, and also the choice between the modern or classic style. Because of these advanced features, the File Upload field requires a paid license. If you’d like more details, please see our Complete Guide to the File Upload Field.
We certainly appreciate your opinion, and I’ve shared your feedback with our team.
For making inline forms, you can definitely do that with the WPForms Lite! This can be done by simply adding a CSS class in the form builder. You can follow the steps mentioned in this tutorial to know more about it.

Hey @tonydjukic,
Thanks for the feedback, and I’m sorry for the frustration!
I’ve also replied to your review with more details. But in case it helps, I’ve included a quick summary here:
Email delivery issue affects WordPress notifications in general (not only notifications from WPForms). This is because emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.
Different ISPs and email service providers use different factors as metrics to filter spam or block emails. So you might find that some form plugin notifications are received, while others are not. For other users, the opposite might be true.
The best solution to ensure email delivery is to use an SMTP plugin that authenticates notifications sent from your site – it’ll be like you’re logging into your account to send an email.
Hope this helps clarify!
Hi @tonydjukic,
We’re really glad to hear that you’re liking the interface of the plugin and that it’s easy to set up! However, I am really sorry to hear that you’ve had to face issues with email delivery.
Email delivery issue is common, unfortunately, and it affects WordPress notifications in general (not only notifications from WPForms). This is because emails sent from WordPress are not authenticated (unlike emails sent directly from dedicated email service providers). As a result, they are likely to be filtered by the receiving mail server.
Also, different ISPs and email service providers use different factors as metrics to filter spam or block emails. This is the reason why some form plugin notifications are received, while others are not.
If you would like to know in detail about what happens when an email is sent, this video includes great insights about it.
The best solution to fix email delivery issue would be to configure an SMTP plugin on your site. When you set up an SMTP plugin, it authenticates notifications sent from your site – it’ll be like you are logging into your account to send an email. As such, notifications are more likely to reach your intended destination.
I hope this helps!

Hi @castigamatti2,
I’m sorry that our Lite version doesn’t seem to fit your needs for now. Our team has worked hard to make sure that our free version includes everything needed to create a basic contact form.
The Standard Fields like the Single Line Text and Paragraph Text fields can be used to collect any information you’d like.
You can also set up form notifications to send out form submission details, or add users as email subscribers when you connect WPForms to Constant Contact.
If you’d like more help with using WPForms Lite, please feel welcome to post in our WPForms Lite support forum.
