Justin, I think that the integration with other plugins – not a good idea, as it requires the user to install another plugin. More plugins – WordPress is slower.

I can implement support of the Featured Video in my plugin, but this feature complicates the plugin and it already requires simplification, I can clearly see.

I’m not sure what kind of approach is best to choose and I need to to think about this idea. I would be grateful for any arguments in favor of an approach.

1. Можно ссылку на страницу, где проявляются подобные проблемы? Или шорткод, при котором выводятся некорректные ссылки?
2. Что-то не понимаю, в каком режиме такое получается? Я вот не смог нигде добиться дублирования: https://demo.lp-tricks.com/recent-posts/layouts-without-featured-image/
И как должно быть красиво и нормально?
3. А как иначе-то? Высоту можно выставить любую, на то и настройка у пользователя. Средствами браузера подгонять высоту конечно же можно, но для этого не нужно просто задавать её в настройках.
