I’ve used various themes in the past – all with the same problems. But I’ll look at the Twenty Ten theme again … Thanks Esmi.

So, the problem might be with the themes I’ve used in the past? Or am currently using?

I am using “Magazine” with Genesis now. I had used Albeo previously and had the same problem. Haven’t tried the Twenty Ten theme. I just switched to Magazine theme, which works nicely for my blog as it’s an “online magazine” with various categories. I had tested several other free themes but experienced the same thing with those so thought that perhaps if I bought a theme, the problem wouldn’t occur. I was wrong.

Thanks for your response. I have changed hosts and I’ve also discussed this – in live chat – with my current hosting company. They say the problem is with WordPress.

Oh, and just after I posted to this forum asking for help, I revisited my site and it allowed me to insert the photo I needed to complete the post. I hadn’t changed a thing. It’s as if there’s something in the air … But that’s how it always goes. It’s a random occurrence but I never know, after I write a post, whether or not I’ll be able to complete it with photos, links, formatting, etc. or if my program simply won’t perform.
