In reply to: World of Psychologynice site. i like the colours, which are no doubt meant to calm my brain activity, given the subject matter ;o) One thing I noticed (on IE6, Windows 2000) is that the header for your posts looks a bit jumbled, like a dot matrix printer that’s running out of ribbon. Apart from that, it’s solid.

In reply to: wordpress template designers for hire?i think a seperate category for freelance design is a good idea. but then again, just take an existing template and get your hands dirty! whatever you break in your design can easily be fixed. for example, my site is loosely based on rubric, a template i found at alex king’s site. and anyway, if it goes wrong, you can just upload the untouched index/wp-layout files and start again ??

In reply to: A little OT: Looking for flash mp3 player for siteYou can set up FSound so that it doesn’t play automatically. It can also be configured so that the buffer for the stream is however long you want (5, 10, 20 sec etc) or that the whole tune has to be downloaded before playing. And I agree with you antifuse, embedded tunes are evil.

In reply to: A little OT: Looking for flash mp3 player for siteCheck out Roland Schaer’s mp3 player – https://www.rolandschaer.ch – and look for FSound under downloads. It’s an MX component. Bear in mind that your user will have to stay on the page for it to stream. Therefore, you’d have to have it in a new window so that they can browse and listen simultaneously. I plan to do this for my site, when I finally get round to doing the damn thing ;0)
