In reply to: Footer Widget Display Issue In Admin AreaThis is not a WordPress issue, your theme appears to be overriding the default Widgets area (notice the title is Widgets Override).
For this issue, contact your theme developers and let them know of this issue. They will probably push an update for your theme, or personally send you the theme zip file.

In reply to: Sub categories not nesting in parent categoryThis is actually a feature in WordPress. All categories related to that post will appear at the top of the list. Do not fear, if you go back into “Categories” under the Posts menu, you will see it is still nested.
It is merely a (confusing) convenience so people with lots of categories do not have to scroll down to see what categories the post is in.

In reply to: user names and log inCurrently it’s probably set up that nobody can register, since the Register Button is not above Log In. Follow the first paragraph above, then she can Register, and she will have a login for your site.
You will also see her under Users in the back end, once she has registered.

In reply to: user names and log inUnder Settings -> General, there is the setting that allows anyone to register to your blog, and the default Role for those users (leave it at subscriber). The Register option should appear right above Log In in your sidebar.
Under Settings-> Discussion in the WP Admin, you can set a lot of settings relating to comments. You can make it so you must approve any comment, or that people must register to your site to comment.
Akismet is a GREAT tool – it should be a default Plugin (Appearance -> Plugins), activate, register for Personal Blog (price is 0-120$, you can get it for free).
Akismet will block 99% of spam, so you shouldn’t need to require people to register to comment, but that’s your decision!

In reply to: 404 for readers when publising a new blog postTry going to Settings -> Permalinks and click “Update”. Sometimes resetting permalinks will resolve an issue like this.

In reply to: user names and log inI am assuming the link you sent is actually https://truecajunpottery.com
Have her go to this link: https://truecajunpottery.com/wp-login.php or click Log In at the bottom of your right sidebar.
Have her click the “Forgot Password” link, she can enter her email address she used to register here. She will then get an email with her username, and a link to reset her password.

In reply to: Duplicate subfolders in address when Logging in or OutUpdate: This appears to be directly related to the bbPress plugin, and the way they handle login/logout redirection.
