We started to face the same issue just recently. Because of this issue, we are unable to optimize our articles. We are used this on self-hosted WP platform. We really need an urgent fix on this please.

Even that does not help. There seems to be something wrong with the plugin.- This reply was modified 6 years, 1 month ago by ewdrobert. Reason: Fixed Incorrect handle name
Adding multiple paragraphs is not preserved. They all get combined into a single para. There seems to be something wrong with the plugin.
I totally agree with @tubbco15. I am facing the same exact issue as well.
With high hopes, I have chosen the plugin but inability to render the formatted text correctly is a deal breaker. Hope author can respond soon as it is an urgent issue.
@solagirl Thanks for your reply. I wouldn’t deny that this plugin was initially helpful to get traffic. But with the recent Google’s algorithm update, this plugin really acted against the website, rather than acting in favor of it. And upon further research, it revealed that most of the other websites who are using this plugin also got penalized.
Yes, you are doing good by focusing on writing. Even we are not using this plugin anymore, so hopefully we will get back our rankings. We did use to rank in the 1st page of Google search results for many keywords, but it all fell because of this plugin. So we are personally never going to use it again.
Hi,
I did find couple of such spam keywords when we used it on our blog https://www.theextremewebdesigns.com/blog/. In some cases, we could not tell the different between the spam search terms & a non-standard character. I also saw non-English keywords. It was more like Turkish language. So I am not sure if that Google sent that traffic to us for such a keyword or if someone changed it manually to arrive at our website, which would be ridiculous to do so! Why would someone spend more time trying to do that? Any what would they get out of doing it?Well anyways, starting today, we are discontinuing the use of this plugin. Are you using the plugin even now? Have you seen any decline in Search Engine Traffic, especially in the month of March?
Please share your thoughts.

RobHi,
You might be right. It did really boost traffic in the past but lately, the traffic just fell! We were showing the Incoming search terms on the single article pages of https://www.theextremewebdesigns.com/blog/All articles were carefully written, and enough time was spent to ensure that the articles comply according to Google’s guidelines. But looks like the Incoming search terms started acting against the page. So we are going to disable it & test how it works.
How are things going on your end? Did your website traffic pickup? What have you done to pickup your traffic? If disabling the plugin worked in your favor, how much time did it take to see the rise of traffic?
Please share your thoughts.
Regards,

In reply to: Changing the_content filter priority in pluginsI am interested in knowing the solution for this. It could be frustrating experience to have some other output show up before the output you really desire. So if anyone has a solution to this, it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Thanks for the prompt reply. Based upon your suggestion, viewing the source code of the article located at https://www.theextremewebdesigns.com/blog/jquery-redirect-redirect-page-jquery-redirect-page-jquery-after-5-seconds/, reveals the following. The title of the page in the head tags is “jQuery Redirect | Redirect Page jQuery | Redirect Page jQuery after 5 seconds”. That is correct.
So does that mean it is a Google problem? I personally never came across such an issue ever nor did I hear anyone else say anything about it. It really does not make sense why the results show up this way after the upgrade. Could it have been an un-noticed bug in the most recent version of the WordPress core?
Because the complete title appears, that means that Yoast SEO is not the problem. So it has be something else. Either a bug or Google problem. If former, can someone please fix it? If latter, can someone please suggest a remedy for it?
Thank you.
