In reply to: [My Calendar - Accessible Event Manager] Bug with Calendar 3.1.1I’m having the exact same problem with my site. It was fine yesterday. I updated to WordPress 5.0.1 this morning and now it’s not working. I tried disabling all other plugins and it did not help.
Weird, it would show it was running through the tables for all the sites whenever I would use it on one of the subsites. Either way, it’s no longer an issue. I’ve purchased licenses for the Premium version.
Never mind, I see you’ve stopped supporting Multisite with the free version and now I must pay for the Premium version to use your product.
Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Gallery Shortcodes Break PageI was able to fix the page by re-doing every single gallery with jpgs instead of pngs. It looks like it has something to do with memory or size limits for the page, but I couldn’t figure out which php setting I needed to change.
I’m afraid I will run into this problem again someday when I have to add more images, but with the jpgs being 2/3 the size of the pngs, it should be okay for awhile.

In reply to: Gallery Shortcodes Break PageToday I deleted another shortcode and inserted one of the problem shortcodes back in and the page displayed correctly. From what I can tell, there is some kind of limit on the number of images I can display via gallery shortcode on one page.

In reply to: [TablePress - Tables in WordPress made easy] Iconize Links Stop WorkingNevermind, the other website admin came back and said they do have a limit on the number of icons that will show on one page.

In reply to: Plugins not Pulling all Categories after Move to MultisiteOk, I’ve fixed the problem. I deleted the plugins, cleared W3C Total Cache, optimized the database, then used WPDB Spring Cleaning to delete all the plugin files from the database. When I reinstalled the plugins, they are working correctly.
I found a problem with WTI Like Post where it wasn’t working correctly because when you add a secondary site to a multisite installation, the plugin doesn’t update with the new database locations. Doing the above steps to fix that also fixed the other two plugins that weren’t working.

In reply to: Plugins not Pulling all Categories after Move to MultisiteThe plugins are supposed to show all the categories and are only showing a small percentage of them.
When building forms with Gravity Forms there is a field called post category that should pull up all of the categories and give you the ability to add all or to select which ones are available for the form. Since moving to the new multisite, only about a dozen are showing and the nine I need do not.
I know Gravity Forms is compatible with multisite. There is plenty of documentation on their website and WPMU Dev that says it is.
Multiple Category Selection Widget gives you the ability to show all of your categories on a drop down widget and your users the ability to filter search results on multiple categories. Once again, I’m only seeing about a dozen or so categories listed when the plugin is active.
I don’t see anything that says whether Multiple Category Selection Widget works on multisite or not.
Both of these plugins were working correctly on the site prior to the move with the same versions of the theme and WordPress (including a multisite installation). The only thing that has changed is the site is now a secondary site rather than the primary site on the new server.

In reply to: Plugins not Pulling all Categories after Move to MultisiteSorry for not being clear. The categories don’t show on those particular plugins. They show everywhere else on the site.

In reply to: [Category Grid View Gallery] Incorporate Image Lazy LoadingI also attempted to use the Paginate function, but it doesn’t work with the number of short codes I have per page.

In reply to: Broken Image Links in Media LibraryThis is my first site and I picked it up from someone else that had set it up on GoDaddy. I honestly don’t know anything about other hosting companies.
I did find a plugin that changes the upload structure to year/month/date/title so we will never have the problem of too many files in one folder again. I’ll still have to fix all of the images we currently have on the site.
Forum: Networking WordPress
In reply to: Broken Image Links in Media LibraryYeah, there is no way to prevent that with this site. Especially since WordPress creates 3 versions of every image we post.

In reply to: Broken Image Links in Media LibraryThanks, you just pointed me in the right direction for discovering the problem.
Because I took this site over from someone else, I wasn’t aware that GoDaddy has a limit of 1024 files per folder. In most cases, we have about 10x that many in each of the monthly uploads folders. Apparently, the database was having issues accessing all the files and arbitrarily deleted every file from 2012.
So, I get to pay for a restore and have to figure out a way to break up the files by day so we don’t go over the limit again.
Thanks for your help.
