In reply to: [Author] Number of Blog PostsHi Ben, all sorted now and thank you for the response. FYI to resolve the word count issue, I manually inserted an excerpt in the last 10 posts that are displayed by default on my blog page.
Thank you and I will mark as resolved.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Author] Number of Blog PostsDeactivated copyright protection plugin and it resolved the number of posts on the blog page but still shows way more than 25 words in the excerpt.
I will not close this yet as Ben Sibley at Complete Themes should know about these issues.Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: [Author] Number of Blog PostsSame with limiting number of words in excerpts, set to 20 but way more than that displayed before ‘continue reading.’
It is confirmed it’s on a blocklist from a previous user well before the IP address was assigned to me by my ISP.
Funnily enough, my ISP is about to install a free fiber upgrade with a new router and thus new IP address. I will check to see if that is blocked before they leave ??
As for the plugin, I read a thread on their support forum from someone with the same experience as me. They simply said it wasn’t the plugin but since I deactivated it in all my websites, the problem went away. Go figure!
Never mind. I have found out my home IP address is blacklisted through no fault of mine. It was BL in 2019 before it was assigned to me by my ISP. I am reaching out to my ISP to either have the BL removed or assign me a new IP address.
I would also add the problem has gone away since I deactivated the Anti-Spam Clean Talk plugin on my WordPress websites.
Thanks, but I can’t find the link you mention after checking the whole of that page here:

In reply to: Mailchimp Invalid RSS Feed – Chosen Pro ThemeFor the benefit of others, I found a fix to this. I used another RSS aggregator that worked and now have a combined RSS feed campaign within Mailchimp ??
Mailchimp are aware that Chimpfeedr did not work with my feeds and they suggested using https://www.rssmix.com/
As I say, it worked.

In reply to: Mailchimp Invalid RSS Feed – Chosen Pro ThemeThanks James.
That w3.org link is now showing different to what was shown earlier. I agree it now appears a valid feed URL but Chimpfeedr still refuses to accept it as valid!
I am on a free Mailchimp account so I have no idea how to contact them about this issue.
Thanks

In reply to: "Insert/edit link" Feature In Editor Not Working…It was the same issue!

In reply to: "Insert/edit link" Feature In Editor Not Working…Just tried MS Edge and Firefox – same results – so it’s not a browser issue. I have cleared cache and cookies in Chrome. I have been in to my web hosting cPanel and cleared all caches.
Deactivated plugins and put them back one by one and finally re-installed a new zip copy of 4.5.
The same problem!Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: "Insert/edit link" Feature In Editor Not Working…I have the same issue. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps above and still not working.
What is this TinyMCE editor all about? I thought the issue was about the visual editor in WP 4.5.
Has anyone found a solution yet?
It’s so frustrating. I can’t do a thing until I know there is a fix.Hey! Thanks for this info. I followed your instructions to the letter and it worked.
