In reply to: [Genesis Custom Headers] Adds 2nd header under primary headerThanks!! Editing the php function or the CSS is no problem.
I would like all of my archive pages to show the normal header that my theme wants to show and all other pages to hide the header so that I can instead put in a custom header using your plugin.
I have a lot more pages that I would like to add the custom header and only a few archive pages that I would like the standard header to show.
The site is live but currently using my old theme and not the Genesis Dynamik theme with which I am using your plugin.
The site is https://www.chessedwards.com
Might you be able to supply me with the code the hide the header image on all pages except the archive pages?
Thanks again.

In reply to: [Genesis Custom Headers] Adds 2nd header under primary headerI did put in css code to not display the header on any pages. However, certain pages like archive pages, now don’t have any header and I don’t see any way to have this plugin add a header to the archive pages.
Seems there must be a way to not have double headers on all pages And have a header on my archive pages.

In reply to: [Genesis Custom Headers] Adds 2nd header under primary headerTo be clear, I’d like to have a standard header that shows up on all pages without having to customize each page.
But I want to then “replace” that header image with the featured image on specific pages.
Thanks

In reply to: [Genesis Custom Headers] Adds 2nd header under primary headerI do see where I can add the header in all manner of places, but I can’t see any way to replace the default header.
It always Adds a header, but never replaces the header that is already there.

In reply to: Set featured image but don't change headerTo be clear, for the posts that I’ve changed the custom header – I want the custom header to show up as the thumbnail. That’s great.
It is for the pages that I don’t want a custom header, but I do want a featured image. On some posts I am trying to keep the default header and yet set a featured image to show up as the thumbnail for when the post gets shared. Right now the default header is showing up as the thumbnail.
I’ll check out the link. I hadn’t seen it before.

In reply to: Set featured image but don't change headerI don’t see any posted links above?
Do you mean the php coding? Yes, I tried the first one and it removed all my custom headers. I saw the second one and am not sure if I want to risk breaking something with a guess as to what the custom field is called.

In reply to: Set featured image but don't change headerDid you set up the custom field for all of these posts with custom headers?
No, it is a part of the twenty eleven theme to replace the header (default header set up in the dashboard) with the featured image. You can set that for each individual post. So, some posts I chose a featured image and chose an image that was the right height and width and that shows up as the header for that post.
Then, when that post gets shared on Facebook, the custom header shows up as the thumbnail (at least a cropped version of that header).

In reply to: Set featured image but don't change headerThanks for the updated version.
I have no idea what the custom field is called. Not sure if it is worth the hunt. Thank you.

In reply to: Set featured image but don't change headerUnfortunately that coding removed all my custom headers for all other posts for which I created unique headers.

In reply to: Set featured image but don't change headerThanks esmi,
Will that keep other posts from setting the header with a custom featured image when I want a specific featured image for the header? Or only for posts that I choose a featured image that is smaller than the normal header size?

In reply to: Remove page title with no IDI got it. I had to put the code up in the proper section of the style sheet with the other .entry-title code.
Thank you.

In reply to: Remove page title with no IDOK, I put this code at the very bottom of my style.css page
.page-id-1273 .entry-title { display: none; }
The title still shows up. What might I be doing wrong?
Thanks

In reply to: Remove page title with no IDFor the life of me, I couldn’t find the page id. Where does that show up on the edit page when I’m creating the page? I can’t find it.
Thanks

In reply to: [Dynamic Widgets] [Plugin: Dynamic Widgets] Hide Footer Widgets – Possible? Thanks,
I did figure it out. I was being a dope and never realized that is an entirely separate section for editing footer settings. I was editing sidebar settings and didn’t realize it.
