In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] Manual CRP Renders EmptyI’d love to try to shortcode but I have no idea what the context for it should be. Can you please provide that?
If that doesn’t work, I’ll get the right query for you. Thanks!

In reply to: [Contextual Related Posts] Manual CRP Renders EmptyI’m not sure I understand the question “Does the automatic install work?” The only thing I am having trouble with is when I manually try to place CRP on my landing page. The automatic placement of the CRP at the specified location for each blog post is functioning fine. It is on my main landing page, where I added the CRP block, that the block renders blank. In fact, when I am in “edit” mode for my landing page, and add the block, it actually displays “Block rendered as empty” in place of where the CRP block should be.
Main landing page: https://extinctdisney.com (CRP should appear in what you see as white space on the right)
Post example: https://www.extinctdisney.com/flight-to-the-moon/ (CRP is displaying as it should near the bottom of the post)
That’s the CSS for a plugin (Autoptimize), not the main mage?
Thanks for the response. As my site is not income generating (I don’t even get enough from ad revenue to cover the domain registration fee), the pro plugin is not an option for me unfortunately. I guess I shall be making time to update them each one by one. Thank you again!

In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] WordPress 5.6 Broke Plugin? It appears if I remove the blocks that existed before 5.6, update the post, and then add a block again, it’s working. I have no idea why but considered this resolved.

In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] WordPress 5.6 Broke Plugin? That isn’t the issue. That is what is appearing on the page but the actual link to the YouTube video is what is placed in the WordPress YouTube Embed Block. Again, if I turn off your plugin, the video is embedded fine (but without my settings to make the player smaller etc.). I should mention, I see the video/block just fine on the post edit page.

In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] WordPress 5.6 Broke Plugin? You can see it, it’s showing up as text only, right beneath the image gallery.

In reply to: [WP YouTube Lyte] WordPress 5.6 Broke Plugin?Interesting. I can reproduce it by turning the plugin on/off. I can also create a new page, embed a video using the YouTube WP embed block, and it’ll be fine until I turn the plugin back on. Here are some example pages:
https://www.extinctdisney.com/magic-journeys/
https://www.extinctdisney.com/pirates-of-the-caribbean/
The only time it seems to work is when I manually type the embed code (as in this page here: https://www.extinctdisney.com/space-mountain/).

Resolved
Just got the update to autooptimize and indeed the issue is resolved! Thank you!
Sorry, the answer is pretty much every page except the landing page. Here are some examples (I have 121 galleries in total and none are working):
https://www.extinctdisney.com/20000-leagues-under-the-sea/ (there’s actually two galleries on this one)
https://www.extinctdisney.com/horizons/
Strangely, out of nowhere, ALL of the posts have suddenly reappeared. It looks like maybe there was some sort of issue that got resolved?

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Twitter Card – Not Showing Summary w/ Large ImageAs an update, I could not find anything that explained why this was happening. Using a “string locator” I found the file (meta.php) in my theme that housed the twitter card string and happened to notice, as I looked at it, that it referenced a plugin called “Blog2Social” that I use for posting to social media sites. In digging deeper, I was able to find that plugin had settings to set the meta data as well, and was essentially overwriting what Yoast was doing. In turning off those settings, the card now appears correctly. I am sharing this to help anyone else who happens to run into the same issue.
