If you don’t mind putting the post code information into an already existing column, you can do it very easily : just put the follow line of text in the “Additionnal settings” tab of your contact form.

flamingo_subject: “[your-subject] [your-postcode]”

That will only work form future submission and not the ones that are already saved.

If you need another column, you need to do that with some code by using the manage_flamingo_inbound_posts_columns and manage_flamingo_inbound_posts_custom_columnmanage_flamingo_inbound_posts_custom_column filters

Some fonts available via Font Squirrel cannot be downloaded directly : the license does not allow the font to be downloaded from fontsquirrel.com website. For example, Quicksand (https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/quicksand) can be downloaded directly (see the “webfont kit” menu link), whereas Intro Rust (https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/intro-rust) cannot.

Moreover, the API I use to ask Font Squirrel the list of downloadable fonts does not work exactly as expected, and some fonts that appear on the plugin backend cannot be downloaded directly, installing it via the plugin will fail.

@darkstarx : to answer your question about my favorite search engine, it’s Duck Duck Go. If you want to find alternatives to google services, have a look at Degooglisons internet, a project led by the French no-profit organization framasoft.

@darkstarx : yes, you’re right, my Font Squirrel plugin has not been updated for a while. I did not work on this plugin since a lot of time because I can’t make a living from it. One of my client is using it though, and it’s working well :

Here is how it works : visit the “Font > Search Font” menu in WP admin panel, you will see a list of fonts to choose from (here is a screenshot). Then, click on a font and push the install button : the font is downloaded form Font Squirrel and all the needed css files are setup on your site automatically. From there, when you edit a post, you have a “font family” drop down and you can choose a font to apply to one or several words in your post (screenshot).

Hi @darkstarx. I don’t know anything about Elementor plugin. But as a developer, I tried to find an easy way to provide Fonts Squirrel into WordPress. Font Squirrel has an API that lets you request the font names and images so that you can have an idea of a font without downloading and installing the full font files set. Unfortunately, this API is not very stable : some fonts that are listed cannot be downloaded.

However, I made a plugin that let you select and use any font listed in the API into WordPress : https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/font-squirrel/. It is not perfect, but you can try it.

Thanks for reporting this issue. When a a font is installed, Font files and preview images are stored in the “font” directory inside “wp-content”. Could you verify that this directory has been created and it contains some files ?

@chris : I did not saw the admin notice because I made the update via command-line. Many developers use automated tools to perform the updates, so you should not rely on a message being displayed just once during the update process.

The mention of ownership change in the changelog is not prominent and is very laconic. I would have expected a small but complete sentence saying that Yoast trusts MonsterInsights and a link to one of your respective websites. I would have also expected that this sentence can be found in the description tab, at least during 4 or 6 months after the change.

I’ve done the update via WP-cli command line tool, so I did not saw the notice. I checked the readme and did not saw any notice about this ownership change. What do you mean Chris by “we have notes in the readme about the change” ? Just a single line at the beginning of the “description” tab on the plugin page saying that Yoast trusts MonterInsight would have reassured me.

I’ve build a submodule based on this one to enable me to use it in a multi-site network without configuring each site separately : the main site holds the configuration for every other site in the network. What is expecting to change that could break my submodule ? I just used a filter to the option_yst_ga, but this option name might change, no ? I would expect a clear note in readme that says if option name are expecting to change or not.

@derek : I think the issue is in the developer camp. There should have been a notice somewhere to say “don’t worry, this plugin is still the one you loved before, we just changed the logo”. And why not mentioning Yoast as a co-author ? Or just a little note at the end of the description saying that this code has been written by Yoast ?

2. que le travail du développeur est facile et donc gratuit.

J’ai expliqué plus haut que les étapes très sévères de sélections des thèmes sur www.ads-software.com m’avaient obligé à fournir une première version “allégée” de mon thème. Je redonne également la version mise à jour contenant le fameux menu latéral disponible sur le repository github : https://github.com/1nterval/skrollr/archive/1.1.beta2.zip. Je n’ai pas encore eu le temps de refaire passer à cette nouvelle version toutes les validations nécessaires pour la soumettre sur www.ads-software.com, mais puisque vous me proposez votre aide pour le faire, je l’accepte volontiers (ou ai-je mal compris ?).

Si vous trouvez que ce thème ne correspond pas à vos besoins, pas de problème, il n’a pas été fait pour répondre à tous les besoins.

Je n’ai pas mis ce thème sur ThemeForest ou autre “grand magasin” car je crois en la force du logiciel libre. Je ne fais pas de thème pour gagner des sous, je gagne des sous en répondant aux attentes de mes clients, et cela peut passer par la création d’un thème, que je partage ensuite avec la communauté WordPress.

Sorry for the late answer.

Your posts will appear on the home page with the default front page setting. Go to the Settings > Reading page, and verify that “Front page displays Your latest posts” is checked.

Note also that you can display the posts on another page, for example a category page will display all the posts that belong to this category.

To see the left menu, you have to use the latest beta version of the theme available only on github for the moment (please download it from there)
