    Hi Sybre,

Thank you so much for your reply.

The live inspection of the translated URLs shows me that the user-declared canonical URL is self-declared e.g. https://www.schneider.im/fr/logiciels/ is the canonical for https://www.schneider.im/fr/logiciels. That is correct and as it is supposed to be.

This was only possible due to your correct suggestion to disable “Browser language redirect” under “WPML > Languages.” This seems to have been the problem for the crawlers which use English as their bot language. Thank you for that.

This also tells me that you are right when saying that we had the crawling issues before installing TSF.

By TSF’s self-declaring canonical URLs Google should now be able to index my translated URLs. But still Google does not indexed my translated URLs and just lists my English version URL as Google-declared canonical. And that even though in the live test it sees my translated URL as a self-declared one and even though I manually requested indexing for the main translated pages several times.

Any expertise you can further share on this topic, Sybre?

Thank you so much in advance and
    kind regards, Fabian
