Currently, the search does only work for files that are attached to a post or page. The post is listed in search results, not the actual file.

It seems that WP-Filebase is not installed in the right directory. Make sure its in wp-content/plugins/wp-filebase

The window that pops up after clicking “Select” should actually list your posts and pages. Seems that this broken on your blog. Please check your browsers error console for JavaScript errors. If there’s nothing please richt click the window, select view source, copy the HTML code and send it to my e-mail, that you can find on https://fabi.me/en/contact/.

I’m sorry for keeping your waiting for the new update so long. Try it out, changed & fixed so much. Of course the latest version is never free of bugs, but I should have some time now to react on your feeedback.

In 0.2.0 you can define a custom sort order per file list.

Users should not have access to the directory were the files are stored, the plugin reads the files and directly sends the content to the browser. However, I will add an option to disable the automatic protection.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

Make sure Apache uses the default ErrorDocument. It seems that you have setup a page in htaccess or the virtual host settings that does not exists.

In the new Version 0.1.3.0 translation support has been added.

The file is just too big for HTTP uploads. Upload it with FTP instead, and click on “Sync Filebase”.
