In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Page not found redirectFurther checking reveals:
1. Copying existing form to a new form – returns “Oops! That page can’t be found. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?”
2. I can create a new form by copying and pasting all settings from existing form to the new form, except, it cannot add new fields. When creating new field and saving changes, it returns “Oops! That page can’t be found. It looks like nothing was found at this location. Maybe try a search?”
3. After few attempts, my IP is being blocked, and I would have to request my hosting company to unblock it.
I hope someone could help me fix this problem.

In reply to: [Go Live Update Urls] Typo caused a big problemHello,
I downloaded and activated Go Live Update URLS in my new wordpress 4.4.2 test-site on live server and is ready to change URLS; however, the site is on testing mode, so I just made it a sub-domain (wptestsite.mydomain.com). Since I will test this plug-ins, I have to first change URL from ‘localhost URL’ to ‘wptestsite.mydomain.com’.
My questions are:
1. Once tested to be running smoothly, can I use the same plug-in the second time around to finally change ‘wptestsite.mydomain.com’ to ‘mydomain.com’?
2. Is it necessary to uncheck the ‘wp_option-Serialized Data’ check-box when changing the urls? It was checked by default in the screenshot of the interface. https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/go-live-update-urls/screenshots/I hope you can clarify me the above concerns. More power.

In reply to: localhost move to webhost – change urls and hyperlinks text?I was not successful in using the DUPLICATOR plug in. I deactivated it and deleted from my system. I used CoreLiteFTP Client and had transferred everything successfully. It’s now running as subdomain of my site that it supposed to replaced soon. I also found out that saving the Permalinks only change the URL automatically created by wordpress when the pages were designed and built, however, all internal text links in the pages that are manually coded remains with localhost URL, so they redirect to pages in my localhost. Is there any shortcut to rename those links or I would have to manually code them again in the remote server? Regarding the password, it is password on my database, do you think it could be hacked without logging first to my cpanel to gain access to the database; likewise log in first with my WordPress admin dashboard? Both my Cpanel and WP Admin passwords are not the same with my database password. Please let me know your views.

Things are getting clear to me. Another question; I think I had asked this before, maybe in other forum, however, I still don’t get the answer that I need to date. Here it is…Supposed I am successful in uploading the WordPress website and replaced the old manually coded site…how do I upload or add newly created webpage from my localhost to the newly created WP website in my remote server?Forum: Localhost Installs

In reply to: localhost move to webhost – change urls and hyperlinks text?Thank you so much RossMitchell. Actually I was about to ask you if I could test my new WordPress site as a subdomain first…well thanks for the advance positive reply. FYI, I already have a subdomain to my hand made website for my blog and it’s a twenty-sixteen theme. Now, please tell, me, in my localhost WordPress website, I used a different theme; do I have to upload another WordPress database to the remote server for the new site or just the new theme?

In reply to: localhost move to webhost – change urls and hyperlinks text?Hi RossMitchell, thanks for your instruction. I will follow this when I upload my new wordpress site. I just need a bit of clarification on some points:
1.”Make a copy of your localhost file “wp-config.php”, call it “wp-configHosted.php”, put the above database name, user and password there.”..where do this “wp-configHosted.php” file be placed; on the same localhost or on the newly created database on the hosted server?
2. Should both the “wp-config.php” and “wp-configHosted.php” be uploaded on the hosted server, or only the “wp-configHosted.php”?
and lastly…
3. My new wordpress localhost site is to replace my existing website that is running real-time since 2007. I manually coded its pages using xhtml and css. I will use the same URL on the new wordpress site. How would I do this if my old site URL is https://www.mydomain.ph.”.ph” is the local domain-name-provider here in the Philippines. Any other input from your end will be highly appreciated. More power to you.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Fast Secure Contact Form] Fast Secure Contact form on localhostThanks for the prompt reply. Actually, everything was configured well with my forms based on the documentation’s instruction. I’ve already tested exactly the same configuration in a test-form in my site’s blog page hosted by a remote server and messages are being sent smoothly using test e-mails. It is my forms hosted in my localhost via WAMP server for another website I am working on that encounter the problem. By the way, I am using Tesseract theme in my local site while Twenty-sixteen theme in my real-time website’s blog.
Thank you for helping out…I am looking forward to resolve this soon.
