    Nico:

Thanks for your response. I’ll try the manual update you sent me next time. To date, I have just clicked the update link from the plugins link in the dashboard. I am assuming all the database info will remain when I delete the old version prior to installing the downloaded file, correct?

One more thing. In order to recover The Events Calendar after site refresh by my hosting company, I have to delete The Events Calendar plugin, then download it again and activate the new version.

Thank you Clifford. I deleted the .bak folder as you suggested and the pluggin functions as it should.

One additional question… Each time I have updated either WordPress or The Event Calendar, it has stalled my website and placed it in a stand-by for maintenance mode. The only way I can get back into the dashboard or view the site at all when this happens is to have GoDaddy shut off and reactivate all of my plugins on their side.

This has only happened since I installed The Event Calendar. My template utilizes Cherry Framework. Is there a conflict with this plugin and The Event Calendar plugin?

The stock template does have an events link as well. The Events Calendar superseded that stock page when the plugin was installed. Could that somehow be the problem when I update?

    Brian:

I figured after I received the error code that you intended the script you provided to be a replacement for the old script in that file. I replaced the content of the Templates.php with the script you provided above and it corrected the formatting issues with the updated plugin. I thought I would post this to let you know that I answered my own question and also for anyone else that was confused as I was earlier.

    Thank you!

    Brian…

I copied the full script you provided in the Templates.php file at the conclusion of the script that already exists in that file. As a result, I received an error on line 80 that broke my website.

Does the script, replace the content in the Templates.php file or is there a certain place the content you provided goes other than at the conclusion of the script that was already present in that file?

I just installed The Events Calendar plugin and I love it. My only problem is when you click on a particular event from the calendar and it opens up the direct event page. If you click on the events link above the post, the link takes you to this page: cactuscreekllc.com/tribe_events/.

That page comes back as a 404 Not Found page. What is this page link? Can I change this to point to cactuscreekllc.com/events?

If I click the Back to Calendar link it goes to the correct page. Thanks in advance for your assistance!
