It’s not the Order Confirmation email, it’s the Completed Order email.

The custom field was added using ACF. I added the custom field to the email by overriding the template. When I noticed it wasn’t working properly, I used the code from https://woocommerce.com/document/add-a-custom-field-in-an-order-to-the-emails/?quid=09bf7ba92c60c1ab0860a4be853f8071 with the same results.

the first thing I did when I noticed the problem was update everything including wp rocket. I’m on version 3.10.1

I’m using v. 6.0.12

I just tested it and when I set Enable caching for logged-in WordPress users it stops working. So, it appears it is an issue with wp rocket caching.

I then added /wp-content/plugins/google-language-translator/js/(.*) to the Excluded JavaScript Files, but that didn’t help.

Nope, it’s on only one page of the site.

Again, I just want to make sure I’ve explained it well enough… When the failures happen, the sales show up in paypal and the customer gets a paypal receipt. But, they aren’t listed in the Orders and no confirmation emails go out from the plugin. It’s important that the customers receive the confirmation email because it contains a link that they need.

The product name is Aging With Dignity. There are no special characters.

It doesn’t happen all the time. About 1/4 of the sales are not showing up as orders.

Yes, the credit card form does render. When I perform a test purchase the page hangs for a while then I get “Error processing checkout. Please try again.”

I tested the webhook with all 4 events with the same results.

I checked the test log on my Stripe account and it is receiving the requests and sending responses. I’m thinking my server might be blocking traffic from Stripe. How would you suggest I check for that?

I was wondering this, too. If I use the add to cart button instead of the download button, will the plugin still create the zip file and add it to the cart?
