Ah so ive got it fixed. After updating my wordpress to 4.7.1, i realised that this allows the ‘Contact Form 7’ to be updated to a newer version.

After i did this, the problem got fixed.

just wanted to add that i’ve updated my wordpress to 4.7.1 and its still the same.

anyway i guess i could. but i foresee having the image having a sort of ‘white flash’ over the placeholder when just before it fades in, wouldn’t it? i guess ill have to try it out

hey dcooney, did you ever manage to complete the example you mentioned in the thread?

having a bit of trouble setting up a child-category filter menu for the blogposts on the homepage.

me too. in my date picker its showing [dd/mm/yyyy] but in email its [yyyy/mm/dd]

any ideas how?

looks like alot of people have the same problems and the plugin admin isnt even addressing our problems. guess imma have to switch to something else

hmm having the same problems again!

tried inputing different emails inside “Also send notification(s) to:” too but doesnt work.

but on the backend, i can see the submissions. just that i’m not getting the emails.

ok nvm, some other plugin was making the shortcodes not appear

no i dont have this problem anymore. i actual;y didnt do anything to fix it.
about a week after i posted this, the email notifications resumed like usual.

i’ve solved it.

in my theme/includes/theme-woocommerce.php
in the following function: function woo_wc_search_form( $form )

i removed this line :

<input type=”hidden” name=”post_type” value=”product” />

adding on. i do believe that is has something to do with woocommerce adding that extension to the url.

default search result url: (no posts found)
https://edleuro.com/new/?s=consectetur&post_type=product

with the extension removed : (posts found)
https://edleuro.com/new/?s=consectetur

anyone else had a similar problem, how do i resolve this?

oh forget that. i just had to drag it into a top level menu i already had. tick the “Replace with links to posts in this category.” and presto. it works
