Ok, so i tested on kadence, my previous theme which also allows short description on product catalog. It has no problem showing the link i’m having problem with on the catalog.

So i’m fairly certain the issue is with blocksy.

I tried to use just text link without the plugin. The external links are still not showing on catalog but on single product. So i can’t identify if the issue is on the shortcode plugin or your theme.

As i mentioned, the shortcode button has no problem redirecting all the buttons on single product page, as well as the other two (light green and orange) on catalog. The issue is the one in deep green (iHerb) on catalog.

FYI, the problem link has an affiliate link that doesn’t end with .com

For example:

Does your theme have problem showing external links that are not .com on product catalogue short description?

@cteduard Thanks. Please keep me posted. It wasn’t like this until yesterday. The link doesn’t have highlight and is non-accessible atm.

Hi, i reached out to my theme (blocksy) support and they replied:

“From what I understand, this is a limitation of the ad plugin that you’re using, as it does not correctly detect additional pages loaded with AJAX. The plugin provider must modify the plugin’s code to make this detection better, as I’m fairly confident it will happen with any other “infinite loading” combination. I would recommend getting in touch with them for adjusting their code to make sure they cover all cases.

Our AJAX loading isn’t anything special, so it should be pretty easy to adjust from their end. We load the whole page and just scrape the .products class for more products with JavaScript and display them on the front end.”

@spacetime im so sorry, i have zero clue.. so is it unfixable? i tried read other posts and enabled the embed js code or something but to no avail lol i think this is beyond my capability ??

@spacetime Sorry, it took me some time to cleanup the disk space. It should be no problem accessing now. Do you have a solution for displaying ads on infinite scroll? Please let me know because i’d really love to keep that function while being able to show some ads naturally. ??

@spacetime I just enabled Remote debugging. Tho the problem still persists, the ads show when i changed infinite scroll to normal pagination. So just both the infinite scroll and “load more” type won’t show. Is this issue more on the theme side? If so, may i know how do i approach them with my concern? Really not an expert here ..

I’m also having OP issue and I dont see “Remove Snippet Data” on Product section, only “Schema Type” where I can toggle to none and Woocommerce Product. Should i toggle to none?
