In reply to: [Fathom Analytics Conversions] Issues with Gravity FlowWe dont have gravity flow, therefore not tested it with this, so it will be difficult for us to know whats happening.
Do you have any errors in the WP Debug that may help us learn where the issue is from?
What is the trigger in Gravity Flow that is used and related?
I see you are stating ‘whenever I update the entry’ – this means the Gravity Forms part is done, and you are updating via admin after submission. I’d guess that the hook in use on the update is the same as the hook in use for submission, hence the redirect to a thank you message, but I could be wrong. If you have any information that could help us here that would be great.

In reply to: [Fathom Analytics Conversions] Events by Class Not WorkingHi @evokweb,
Please add a dot before the class name, so it should be “.announcement-bar-link” in the plugin settings.
Cheers
Yes I would track the thank you page as the conversion.
You can tick the box in the Fathom Conversions widget on any page in the sidebar to do this for you, no need to add the script. See https://fathomconversions.com/plugin/landing-page-events-with-fathom/

In reply to: [Fathom Analytics Conversions] Now conversion from gravity formsHi @marijnr1996
We’ve added this to the FAQ on the website for the plugin:
“The Gravity Forms event fires only when your form is in AJAX submission mode. This is because the non-AJAX mode will fire even when a validation error occurs on the form.”
https://fathomconversions.com/plugin/gravity-forms-events-with-fathom/
That makes sense. I can confirm that the convversion is triggered only on the Confirmation page, not in the payment process before redirect.
Thanks for including your page URL – we checked it out. So the integration works if the form is an AJAX submission. Looks like yours is redirecting which means it’s not an ajax form.
Gravity Forms allows us to make a conversion on a form like yours but it will occur even if the form is a failed transaction / has a validation error. We don’t think this is right, so we only make conversions on AJAX forms.
The workaround is you can opt to have the Thank you page to be a conversion by checking that in the sidebar of that page.
I hope that helps!
Hey @foxylearning
Sorry for the delay – new to managing a plugin and didnt have notifications active!
I’ve just checked a live WooCommerce site we have and the numbers add up. Did you manage to find the issue?

In reply to: [Fathom Analytics Conversions] Now conversion from gravity formsHi @marijnr1996
Apologies for the delay – no, the plugin does not interfere with the form submission events post submission (e.g. notifications or redirection).Did you resolve the issue?
Hi Victor!
Apologies for the dealy, new to managing the support forum and didnt have notifications active.
Essentially, you want the ability to select the form field within the form to use as the value.
Note that Fathom only accepts numeric values for the value, so this might limit the number of fields available for this purpose.
That’s an interesting idea, and I’ll add it to the pipeline for development. Thanks for your input!
