Not sure if this will help but I found it super helpful with using Fatcow hosting who does not allow you to change the permissions to writable for their root directory which really messes up plugins like google sitemaps xml. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

the fix for me here friends was to reinstall the WP 2.9.2 upgrade. Try re-installing from the admin dashboard or from your host’s application control panel.

The only problem I have with this sidebar plugin widget is that it does not give access to the dashboard from the widget. Because of this I am going to be using the simple login plugin. I also noticed that this plugin uses some form field CSS which is not friendly with all my website’s themes.

It seems to me that the Autofocus theme is not really a CMS friendly theme. My website uses the theme switcher and I need all pages on my website to be able to show the same content no matter what theme website users have selected in the theme switcher menu. I just don’t see how the Auto focus theme would work well as a CMS friendly theme without some manual tweaking. Would my site’s page templates stay applied even if a user changes the theme with a theme switcher in the sidebar?

Look for a different photo blogging theme like Monotone or Sliding Door or QuickPic.
