it is very powerful and be warned! Back up your wordpress database before using it.
Your plugin rocks and should be very helpful for anyone trying to mass replace image URLS when moving wordpress installations.

In reply to: Permissions settings, wp-config.php possible locationsNot sure if this will help but I found it super helpful with using Fatcow hosting who does not allow you to change the permissions to writable for their root directory which really messes up plugins like google sitemaps xml. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory

In reply to: .htaccess file “not writable”I think the most helpful info on the correct .htaccess file settings can be found here:
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Permalinks
and
https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Changing_File_Permissions
and the best one is here:

The last link just above may not sound the most releavant but is a perfect source. Not clear here… what was your question?
Forum: Installing WordPress
In reply to: “no posts found” on new installthe fix for me here friends was to reinstall the WP 2.9.2 upgrade. Try re-installing from the admin dashboard or from your host’s application control panel.

In reply to: [Plugin: Sidebar Login] The perfect side login widgetThe only problem I have with this sidebar plugin widget is that it does not give access to the dashboard from the widget. Because of this I am going to be using the simple login plugin. I also noticed that this plugin uses some form field CSS which is not friendly with all my website’s themes.
Forum: Themes and Templates
In reply to: problem with the widgetsIt seems to me that the Autofocus theme is not really a CMS friendly theme. My website uses the theme switcher and I need all pages on my website to be able to show the same content no matter what theme website users have selected in the theme switcher menu. I just don’t see how the Auto focus theme would work well as a CMS friendly theme without some manual tweaking. Would my site’s page templates stay applied even if a user changes the theme with a theme switcher in the sidebar?
