I didn’t realise I actually posted this.
It was actually a hacking attempt. They’d used an old admin account and set up a robot which spammed new pages.huh?

In reply to: 'New post' not workingCleared browser cache. Turned off cloudflare.
Re-installed (as suggested).
Now works.
Cloudflare has a habit of caching any problems and serving them again and again.
Thanks for your help..
I had this issue today.
First you need to check this post here – it basically says that it’s a javascript error. https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Using_Your_Browser_to_Diagnose_JavaScript_Errors
In my case, I found that wasn’t true.
I’ve had this problem before.
Today I had it from a clean install with no add-ons and the default theme.

In reply to: HTTP errorTurns out I didn’t manage to identify the problem, but re-installed the site, re-set the server, re-installed wordpress, then rolled back to 4.15.
If your encountering problems with HTTP, and images not appearing and your visual editor not working, I would suggest that installing an old version of wordpress would solve at least one of these problems.

In reply to: ALL Posts are BLANK – version 4.2.2Well Mika.
I did look on firebug before I un installed and it turns out it’s a css error.
The inherent display properties were erroneous , something I simply don’t have time to fix, especially as the update downloaded and installed itself automatically , without my by or leave.
I’d really much rather go back to the last stable release I ASKED for…..Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: ALL Posts are BLANK – version 4.2.2Sorry,
I don’t have time for an approach like this.
I’ve taken steps to resolve the issue which work immediately and without further investigation.
I’ve simply installed WordPress to the last release that I chose to install, which is 4.1.5.
Thanks for your time though.
Mike.

In reply to: Fix for lack of Visual Editor?I’m having this same problem.
I’m simply gonna roll-back to an old version.
I never asked for the auto-update in the first place.
This sort of responce is typical.
