They’ll give you the fix for this if you email them through the site’s support forum; however, I just got a zip file that I could not figure out how to update. He said they were going to be rolling out an update soon, but haven’t seen it yet. The front end of my site is working so I’ll just wait I guess.

Never mind this. I didn’t have the option for an update to easing slider when I posted this and I went back in and there was an update option – update fixed my issue

I’m having the same problem with all of my sites right now. All wordpress hosted with 1and1. Can’t access any of the login screens.

Of course I finally find a solution after posting. Found this plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/plugin-organizer/ and does the trick.

Never mind. Changed some CSS stuff around and got them hidden in that instance. Cool plugin!

I can remove bullets all together, but I have pages with bullet points so that’s not ideal. Thanks for any help!

I had this same problem, but just another note that you don’t actually have to change your password in wp-config.php. Just go to mySQL Administration at 1and1 and re-enter the same password you’ve always used (the same one in your wp-config). Once that updates you should be good. I noticed the same problem with my WP site on a 1and1 server. Couldn’t access admin and a couple plugins weren’t working. I haven’t touched anything in months.

I logged into 1and1 and changed the “Global PHP Version” from phpdev to php5 and that seemed to solve it for me. I have no idea why but it worked. Hopefully you got it taken care of.
