In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Mailchimp RSS NewsletterThe support provided by etuel was exceptional. He is both skilled and patient.
I am delighted with the plugin (which I am using to produce a fully automated RSS Feed newsletter) and massively impressed with the support.

In reply to: [WPeMatico RSS Feed Fetcher] Mailchimp RSS NewsletterHi,
A quick update: I finally found the ‘title links to source’ option, thank you.
So now I just need a bit of help on getting the source in the RSS feed to link to the original source, rather than my Blog.
Thanks in advance.
Francis
Hi There,
What is the best way to strip html tags from titles?
A number of RSS feeds – for example Google’s feed – use <b> </b> to highlight the keyword in the title. This looks horrible and makes the feed pretty much unusable.
What is the simplest / best way to strip out these tags?
For the excerpts & images add-on I have read how to strip tags from excerpts here: https://docs.wprssaggregator.com/strip-tags-from-excerpts/ but this does not seem to cover the title issue.
Many thanks for your help.

In reply to: [YouTube White Label Shortcode] Youtube BrandingHi Austin,
Thanks for the reply. I am sure a lot of people would love it if you could figure out an option to hide the dynamic black bar along the top of You Tube videos.
Here you go: You can download the screenshot example here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/j320vi6ufttmiuh/youtube-video.jpg
The black bar – which includes the You Tube title for the clip, and a text logo – appears when the clip is stopped (ie at the start or end, on mouseover and if paused).
BTW, as far as I can tell, the showinfo option (of =0 and =1) now seems to make no discernible difference to this.
Good luck!
Cheers,
F.
