In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Google Analytics & Statistics OptionHi @jarnovos,
Many thanks. That is a very useful explanation and makes absolutely sense!

In reply to: [Complianz - GDPR/CCPA Cookie Consent] Google Analytics & Statistics OptionHi @leonwimmenhoeve,
Many thanks for your help! It was the “Germany/Austria” option.
Can you explain why this is important? I thought it is a “targeting only Germany/Austria…” option. But it seems to be important for the statistics functionality.
Best,
FabianHi there,
I experience the same as a problem.
I copied my hosted WordPress instance to a XAMPP installation to test something out. But I cannot manage to get it working due to many hard-coded paths.
Is this intentional?
Thanks
Hi @duongcuong96,
There’s a misunderstanding. ??
It works with the WordPress Export mechanism. The plugin throws the same error I reported in this report.
So it is not working. ??
Best,
FabianHi @duongcuong96,
Yes, the auto update to 4.8.1 hit some hours before I did the test.
Hi @cocreation,
I tried the export with success. Can not detect any problems at all.
The data show this as a result for the title:
<title>LEGO® Robotik</title>
So I think everything works fine.
Thanks for your help in advance!
@cocreation Sorry, late reply. It is the title of the whole site. But it is possible to have this character in a post title, too.
Tried it but the error is the same. ??
Update: The output in the exported XML file looks like this now (no changes at all I think):
<title>LEGO® Robotik</title>

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Slimstat now tracking GooglebotFirst, I had a strange bug or something today. My blog was just responding with a HTTP 500 Error. I had to deactivate Slim Stat in order to get the site running. After installing the new version everything is working fine.
And I haven’t seen any Googlebot entries yet. But maybe the MSNbot hits @kallekn reported earlier, too.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Slimstat now tracking GooglebotReady for testing, too! Submitted a ticket some seconds ago.
In the meantime: @kallekn do you have a list of IP addresses I can use? I’ll look into my statistics and will update the list if I’ll see some other addresses. So both of us (and others) can benefit from it.
Thanks

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Slimstat now tracking GooglebotSame here for me with WordPress 4.6.1 and PHP 5.6.
Is the (only) solution updating to PHP 7 oder will there be a fix? Because, as @kallekn mentioned, the statistics are useless at this time. ??
Cheers
FabianHi there,
I get the same error and it would be awesome to hear if I’ve to do something about it and what’s the reason for this error.
Thanks,
FabianHi,
I have the same issue with an newly installed plugin.
The subscription itself works fine. But not the management of subscriptions.

In reply to: [SlimStat Analytics] Cookies don't get trackedHi Camu,
yes, exactly. I don’t know if I miss some other options somewhere.
