Happy to hear it’s again working for you, I’m still looking for a solution to this same issue. But thanks to you I live in hope.

Having the same issue. Flash uploader freezes on Crunching… Looks like it’s a major problem out there with many people – but as yet no solutions that work. Have several accounts with one hosting company and this is just an issue with one account (so far). but hosting co. not interested in figuring out what the issue is. Hope to find a working solution soon so we can all get back to work. Any help appreciated.

Same issue for me on GoDaddy as well. Tried your above solution but didn’t change. This is a brand new account and I have other accounts on GoDaddy which work fine with the uploader, I’ve tried everything I can think of and find on the net so far and nothing makes any difference. I’m going to contact GD tomorrow regarding above reply and if I find out anything I’ll post back. This is crazy.

I have the same thing happening: When using media uploader it just stalls and says Crunching… I’ve deleted all files and databases, rebooted machine then uploaded a fresh minimal wordpress (no plugins, extra themes, post or page info) and still the same problem. And I have other accounts on same server that work fine with same media.

Searched all over and haven’t found anything that fixed it or explained it. So sorry jklaszus I don’t have any answers but you have company. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
