In reply to: [MPL-Publisher — Ebook & Audiobook Creator] AudioHi @henrikdam
With our plugin, you need to create separate files. You can export your book as an EPUB for text and as an MP3 for audio. The audio is not included in the EPUB file

In reply to: [MPL-Publisher — Ebook & Audiobook Creator] Table of content in EbookHello @falken62
The table of contents in an EPUB file is managed by the reader itself. This means there isn’t a specific page dedicated to the index, and its appearance may vary depending on the reading software.
On the technical side, the plugin generates an NCX file, which each reader processes according to its own specifications.

Hi @sapphire,
Plugin’s author here. When the popup launches, the download begins simultaneously. You can check your created ebooks in your browser’s download history. If it’s still not working, feel free to email me at ferran@mpl-publisher.com for additional support.
The free version is sufficient to publish an eBook in multiple formats, so I’m confident we can get it working for you! ??

In reply to: [MPL-Publisher — Ebook & Audiobook Creator] Does the plugin support RTL?Hello @yairiss
It does, but it has not been heavily tested as it’s not my native direction. The “requirements” are that your WP site must be configured as RTL and use EPUB (2 or 3) as output format. If you can try on your side and need more help, let me know.

Hi @ennovate
Replying here the same as per email so it can help other users.
From my experience, when an error like this happens, it usually is related to just one of the posts with a HTML error in it.
The problem is finding this “problematic” post. I recommend trying to create the book from small batches until you get into an error (for instance, instead of 10, try 5+5). If the error happens on the second batch, try again with 2+3, and so on.
I imagine this can be slow, but this is the best approach I’ve found. Checking the “Validate content before download” will help you too. This will show if there is any error in your content, but it could be too technical if you are not familiar with HTML.
Hi @delanthear
Most probably it is related to an HTML error in one of the posts. My suggestions are:
- Just before clicking the download button, try to check the “validate content before download”. This will bring you more information about the error if it’s related to HTML.
- Try to create the file in small batches instead of selecting all posts at first. This will help you to refine if the error is global or if it’s related only to a specific post.
If any of these help you to find the error, let me know and I will try to find other alternatives.

Hi @inspiringlifebooks2024 I’ve replied to this issue at your email address.
Edit to other users: When a Flipbook is created, a blue box is shown on top of the page with the link to the Flipbook. Here is an screenshot https://share.cleanshot.com/CVtDmkTv

Hi @jincyjithin
- Links are exported but they keep the styles from the paragraph, so it seems they are not visible. I did a quick test https://share.cleanshot.com/8jxS6ftL and you can see the word “WordPress” is a link but it is black. Doing a quick search I’ve found there is a solution for that: https://webapps.stackexchange.com/questions/44401/how-to-change-the-default-style-of-text-links-in-google-docs I guess MS Word will have a similar feature.
- Images are always tricky so we have a FAQ section with some common errors related to image https://docs.mpl-publisher.com/docs/faq/ In your case, this could be an explanation:
- We use a third-party open-source library to create the Word document. We have detected that images placed inside a link will not be displayed in the final document. Currently there is no alternative, so the only solution to display the image in this case is removing the parent link.

Hi @jincyjithin
Just a quick note to help you debug the error:
- Just before clicking the download button, try to check the “validate content before download”. This will bring you more information about the error if it’s related to HTML.
- Try to create the file in small batches instead of selecting all posts. This will help you to debug if the error is global or if it’s related only to a specific post.
- Images are commonly a source of errors. Try a different option inside the “Design” tab > “Content images”. For instance, start disabling all images and then try other options to see if it makes a difference.
- Public URLs work better than localhost. If you have the option, try to export the docx file from a server rather than from localhost.

In reply to: [MPL-Publisher — Ebook & Audiobook Creator] Emoji in Print PDFThis is an error, and it should work as expected, so I will try to find a fix for this. If there is an easy solution to it, I will let you know on this thread. If not, I will release a new plugin version (probably during the next week).

Hey @iasexpress may I close this issue now? did it work?
Hi @splinter1,
I’m more focused on exporting content rather than importing, so currently, I’m not interested in developing such a feature (especially when there are other plugins available).
However, I understand that some people might be interested, so I’ve written a brief tutorial on how to import DOCX files into the plugin. You can find it here: https://docs.mpl-publisher.com/docs/tutorials/import-docx/
Let me know if it helps.
Hello,
I’ve released version 2.14.2. Try to install this one.
I haven’t added a new option to Content Images. These options define the image “container” and not how images are displayed. Full-resolution images are now the default, so there is no option to change from your side.
However, make sure you don’t select “Embed images into chapter content” into Content Images, or images will be downsized before being embedded into the book. Choose “Load images from original URL” to keep full resolution.

Hi @splinter1
Thank you for your message.
No, my plugin converts existing WordPress posts into an ebook file. If I understood you well, you would need first a plugin to import docx or pdf files into WordPress. Then, use my plugin to create the ebook file.
I haven’t tested, but I’ve found https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/mammoth-docx-converter/ You can combine this plugin with mine, and I think it will fit your use case.
