OMG, I totally missed seeing the Migration Helper toolbar … or someone fixed something today.
I was able to export my v1 rule to a JSON file and do a clean install. The import of the v1 data did not work, but it’s only one rule, so i will add it from scratch.Hi @danieliser … I did install the plugin : “Content Control Migration Helper Plugin” … nothing happened or changed on the control panel.
I did see, from watching the server logs, that someone has been trying to fix the problem … thank you.Rob
Hmmm … the Migration Tester did not add anything to the control panel … I think that content-control is really stuck … something persisting in the database after uninstall?
Do you have a “cleaner” tool that will remove everything from the database that was created by the plugin? I don’t mind recreating my restrictions from scratch if that’s an option.
I’ll generate a token to let you have a look. Thanks Daniel. I will try the backup / clean option. I only have one set of restrictions to deal with so far so I can always recreate … I just need to get Content Control “unstuck.” I will let you know how this works.

In reply to: [Contact Form 7] Akismet has Activated Itself?Oh my … I was not aware that the WP comment blocklist (Disallowed Comment Keys) would apply to contact forms. I am not sure that I paid much attention to the comment blocklist at all since I have not had troubles with comments.
My blocklist comprises 39,557 tokens. I don’t where it came from. However, that is neither a Contact Form 7 nor an Akismet issue. Administrator Error.
Closing the ticket, and thank you for taking the time to help!
